Sup jimmy, nice bro, that pond looks like our club pond lol, water looks so calm, but.. I've never seen so many chatterbaits being. Thrown, like everyone using them lol. If go in brothers pontoon boat we use them and works, bank we use the Colorado blade spinnerbait, everyone using chatterbaits go crazy lol, I think same way when water level low, the get more concentrated, tyvm tc 🎣

yeah it's that time, the water will turn greenish in most places. all the ponds are yucky right now all over the state. Gonna take a week or two longer before it clears up., then it's game on! Chatterbait is now one of the most effective cast and retrieve lures! Easy search bait that have proven to catch a lot, big and winning fish in tournaments! :)

@@rawrfishing yes agree, love chatterbaits, and I use thunder cricket.. so funny when see 10-15 fishing and all chatterbaits lol. Yea the pond scum, hopefully this storm that passing through will clear up a lot, before rain yesterday morning I used a frog and a buzzbait through the scum and both worked, it's shallow area it's built up, only spot I could get because can't walk around, this corner by little dam(4'x30") opening.. once an opening brother moved us and used spinnerbait, it's about 200yds shoreline open, rest all woods, and constant pressure,also a few trout fishing, had to be 18 people at one point.. the larger ponds with boat ramps take custom pontoon boat and hit spots can't fish from land, chatterbaits like a magnet lol. Won't buy jackhammer again, income, and everytime I loose it by 5th cast lol. A little trailer is perfect, just as you do👍, take care bro

Hopefully the cheaper Chatterbait will work for ya too. I lost 3 jackhammer this spring to toothy guys lol. And more to come this fall likely.. Just watch haha

I tear em up "mostly trout" on the flash back mini. I always take the factory plastic off but put all kinds of finesse plastics on em like eurotackle crawls,b vibes even dragon fly larvas...every thing works on those just match the color and bam.

yeah most ppl don't like the stock plastic. the 1/16th one seems to stay on longer. Most of the 1/8th one pretty much are not glued from my experience. But it's all good, just take it off and slap your fav plastic on and go to town! I even tie on materials on a fly vise :P

One of my favorite soft baits on the flashback mini is the trout magnet. It doesn’t fit the 1/8 ounce one as well but it’s perfect on the 1/16. The split tail give it a good wiggle. I love using a small straight tail plastic on the 1/8 ounce. Like a baby shad or even a grub!

I just got some of the baby ballerz today. I definitely intend to use them on a chatterbait flashback. I think the ballerz are better than the stingerz but I haven’t tested them.

It's a sweet combo! Definitely don't like the stingerz. Very fragile

That chatterbait works awesomely with a small nikko octopus stretched over the head. No glue needed to keep it in place 😊

You bet! No, I nailed a few more via a spinnerbait. It was a heavily pressured and degraded pond, so having 3 fish isn't bad :) I may edit the other vid soon.

@@rawrfishing that screeching sound when you cast is the same thing that happened to my Salamandura SV TW. The spool tension bearing is rusted from the inside.

It's perfectly fine for me. Reel does not screech as you describe. The sound of the vibration is the spool going too fast during the initial cast. I fished this reel in saltwater too for 3 different trips. Fished the reel since it was released.

The hook bends way too easily

Sounds like you are using too heavy of tackle. works just fine 4-6 lb test line. not once it bent unless im unhooking it from a snakehead and it death rolls.

Dunno what kinda rod that is. But never happened to me before! PE line don't have stretch so... Depending on how much drag u had up, things can happen!

@@Between_the_numbers oh it certainly does! Give it another chance and lower the drag if u feel a big fish on! One of the biggest reward is to land fish on all light tackle... This including thinner hooks that can bend out as well!
