Thanks a lot man. I tried to upgrade ram Team Elite DDR5 5600Mhz from 16GB (original part) to 32GB can only run 4800Mhz. I decide to upgrade my bios from v1.13 to v1.18 and now works running at 5600Mhz. Yes, it should be the same. Some values may be different, but the BIOS should look and feel very similar to this one.

Unfortunately we can NOT modify the RAM speed in the BIOS. My RAM chips are 5,600 Mhz for example, but the BIOS and the system only lists them at 5,200 Mhz. Hopefully a later BIOS update will fix that.

Yes, but I would recommend considering some sort of thermal solutions for the SSD and RAM chips, as well as a good laptop cooler, in order to protect your computer from overheating. I have videos for both in my video library you can check out.

Anyone know how to change the RAM speed in this bios. I bought 32gb that should have 3200 speed, but they only give 2400. The original ones 16gb worked normally at 3200. I have not done any bios updates `yet`

For some reason, the BIOS misreads some RAM speeds. Happens to me too, and indicates 5200 Mhz instead of 5600 Mhz. I'm hoping that the next BIOS update would fix that error.

I've checked it, but my BIOS doesn't have XMP mode options. In fact, there are very few things available to customize even under the "Advanced" menu. :-/

do you know how to undervolt cpu in predator 16? I've predator neo 16 ( i7 13700HX ) model, it seems acer have locked the overlocking and undervolting in their bios since HX processor supports.

@@mrgclips i'm not looking for overclocking my cpu, i wanted to undervolt the cpu to cool temps more so it's lifespan can increase ultimately. even though acer don't give ADP in Predator Series that seems unfair while other brands gave ADP. Previous predator series had motherboard issues that's why i'm worried about it. i wanted to stay at safe side.

Well, if you registered your laptop at the time of purchase, then it will be listed. OR, just check the purchase date of your laptop on the original receipt, which shows the exact date and details.

does you laptop support ddr4 memory or ddr5 memory? Because, this is ddr4 memory and the one on this laptop is ddr5( shown) in the video. You need to get ddr5 memory.

You need Acer Tech Support to unlock your BIOS, these settings should be readily available by reboot -> F2.

Not sure, because the GPU BIOS is basically included in the NVIDIA Driver Updates, which are responsible for the operations of the GPU, and NOT the laptop's BIOS, as far as I know.

Open up "Predator Sense" with the designated key, then under "Scenario" you can assign the service button to On/Off Turbo Boost. But again, why risk your system to overheat? You can also customize the fan settings to lower or higher and use your own settings.

Yes, the COU temp.is usually pretty high, but the cooler is pretty good. However, I'm already considering a cooling pad option of some sort to avoid melting! 😆

Yes, I've noticed it too, that the CPU jumps to 100C very fast, but again, it jumps back to 73 after that just as fast. However, I'm already looking for a cooling solution of some sort, because I don't feel comfortable with the constant high-temp CPU issue.

YES, my model runs 5,600Mhz RAM by factory default, BUT, after upgrading to 64GB, the system only indicates 5,200Mhz, even thought he modules are 5,600Mhz. But yeah, this particular model is pretty good. :)

Don't be afraid of the BIOS! These new ones are very simple to understand and operate. Just make sure you know your current settings, and if anything goes wrong, just set it back the the values they were set on before.

I've had MSI laptops before, which also allowed a wide control. However, the one and only reason I don't care is because the overall performance is so amazing that I never feel the need for overclocking. But yeah, I totally understand your frustration with the limited options in the BIOS.
