For warbringer, the two totem ones, jade, and last one 40% block chance. Annoint cheap one I have is the 20% reduced crit damage taken from in front of merc. Expensive one. Not sure yet

Exactly, just that. And of course, you need to have the strength level to be able to wield it (3x stated str requirement when using Giant's Blood).

Very nice guide. I'm loving the Warrior even though it's been a bit rough compared to other classes. I just started playing HCSSF too. I made it to Silverfist and got 1 shot. My problem was damage though. I dodged his one shot abilities forever, but finally got hit once and died. Do you have any tips for doing good damage while leveling up Warrior in HCSSF?

Perfect strike is also rlly cheap to scale early, if you get a good weapon it will deal a lot of damage bcs it guarantees an ignite and it has a broken support gem that gives 50% more damage for free

Fun fact: 2:47 By falling meteors I'm assuming you're talking about the fire mage? I believe they do chaos damage not fire, you can test it with CI you take zero damage.

You’re correct. Only one crits. But they attack slower than you break armour, so if you summon them not in the same time, you get more crits than if u just had one

Hey, question. Why is Giant's Blood in the "all points" setup instead of just the totem points. Wouldn't it be better to, say, have the Tides of Change and Ancestral Alacrity clusters both in your All Points setup so you can get those bonuses while using Resonating Shield instead of just when you have your 2hers out? Just thinking of ways to optimize. Also, this way you can actually make some of those Strength nodes leading into red nodes red-only, since without Giant's Blood on your shield weapon swap, you don't need the extra strength to meet requirements.

Giant's Blood is a keynote passive (big one). You can't put those to weapon points. Also, strength is kinda important for resonating shield, since it gives lots of max hp. I don't want to have lower hp when my shield is out. It also gives accuracy (from the strength to accuracy node), so that means that I want it not to miss resonating shield.

Hey man, any reason you’re not using shockwave totems instead of ancestral warrior? They get amazing scaling from melee levels and quality. Im running a build that only uses shockwave totems and i summon them ahead of me to destroy anything. They attack even without a target and the damage doesnt have a delay like in sunder. Cheers!

I think Sunder has better scaling end game. But shockwave scales very well too. Thing is, with +melee, you scale both Ancestral Warrior, and Sunder. You double dip in DPS scaling. Shockwave, you only scale Shockwave.

Weapon Set points are incredible and Iam super interested to see what people come up with hahaha. Ive found Witchhunter to be insane for literally any build for that reason. The Node that essentially doubles your weapon set points makes (imo) witchhunter the single best class for most strenght/dex based Builds. Ive played Greandes+DoT Hammer, Cast on Shock Lightningballs by Lightning arrows+DoT Hammer, Ignite Totems+DoT Hammer. Its so insane you can play literally any build, focus ONLY on clear and defences and then have 48 whole points to specc out a DoT Hammer to oneshot literally any boss and rare mob. I only went to tier 13-14 maps on all of those characters but weapons set points are freaking insane.

Yes warbringer is better for this build, his warbringer died that's why he didn't do it again but it's better on warbringer, they even have ascendancy points for totems

What do you think of armour being so weak? It seems 2.4 times weaker than in PoE. It seems your build is still vulnerable to many one-shots. Hits that most, much easier, energy shield builds will survive.

Is it as strong as ES? Definitely not. But I can tank every single 1 shot from physical I've faced so far. Now, it really depends on map mods. Damage as extra chaos, etc. I'm sure a slam can 1 shot me, etc. But yeah, there's very few physical 1 shots I can't tank. And yes, armour is very weak atm. Still, at 32k, it makes the build feel extremely comfortable. Still alive in hcssf at 84. Only way I'll die is if I do stupid stuff (and I very well might!).

Is there something I don't know about Dual wiedling? Afaik every skill in Warrior tree has note "Deal 30% less damage dual wielding". Isn't it better to just use one two handed weapon with shield? Very nice build. My kinda sucks at boss damage so I need to improve it.

We're using the +melee skill levels off the weapons. Totems don't use our weapons. It's just stat sticks.

The less damage is to compensate for both weapons hitting. So instead of doing double the damage as dual wield, you only end up dealing 40% more damage.

If I understood correctly, you can have a completley different skill tree with the second weapon set. So with the first you place your totems and with the second you can have also a tree with chaos inoculation and only defense talents?

Exactly But you're vulnurable while placing totems, since the defensives are only active when you take out shield again. So be careful to place totems only when you're not actively being hit.

what do you think about divesting from some of the armor nodes and going for unstoppable barrier, mass rejuvenation, defenders resolve, or vigilance? i feel like it would spread your defenses out a bit better to make you tankier.

You need 1 regular skill point to use 1 of each weapon skill. So 24 regular points = 48 weapon points (24 of each).

Absolutely not needed. But keep in mind, having two +7s, vs two +5s, you'll have approximately double the damage, if not a little bit more than that. If you can live with less than that, yeah, giant's blood is absolutley not necessary. Just do as you said.

When I check my totem stats after swapping, I see the DPS drop. Does the lower DPS only affect the tooltip, or do the placed totems actually lose the bonus from the +skill weapons after swapping?

Those stats are for the next totem you’ll summon. It shows you stats for totem that you’d summon with current set out.

you want your 2h skill tree to drop all defences and your 1h skill tree to drop all totem dps for defence, your totems get their DPS from when they are cast, which is with 2 x 2h weapons and plus 8-14 levels of skill gem level boost from the 2 weapons, your weapons auto swap when you cast totems and then auto swap back to 1h when you use resonating shield

Yes. 24 normal points vs 48 weapon skill points (24 of each). You basically get an extra 24 passive points in total. Can pick up more of the tree.

They're not wrong in the sense that at the moment, Energy Shield is way better than HP. But that'll almost certainly be nerfed, or HP buffed.

But they aren't wrong? As someone that always go warrior first, it's sad that it's literally the squishiest class in game atm. 3-4k hp is nothing. ES is the same as HP except people have it at 20k and can overflow it. They can take 7x the damage of a class named Titan that's supposed to be a tank melee

I have to said that boss, his flame throw is a instant kill in t18 when you have +4 boss difficult, so is the other boss. The armor doesn't work at all in end game. it deal like 7K physical damage + extra fire. Very frustrate with 22K armor and 90 fire resistance and 4500 Ehp, and it still can one shot easily. Be careful when the build reach higher, the damage scaling are way too high after T15, don't try to tank the boss hit in HC, unless have like 12k ES, blood base build can't really tank high damage, and is super easy to get stun. Doing armor build on hard core is so brave in EA testing.

I'm aware that armour is definitely the weakest defensive at the moment. But because I'm SSF, I'm kinda stuck in Tier 12s/13s atm, due to having low chaos res. I can't buy better gear, so until I find some upgrades, I can't really move up without risking dyign to random chaos stuff.

i want to try to focus mainly on armour, shield and hammernodes. made my first warrior focussed on phys damage, breaking armour and hammernoders but he's a total glass cannon now. just like my frost mage and poison ranger. so this time i want a tanky warrior. tired of getting one shotted.😅

It's a nice build but it's just going to get one shot vs pinnacle content. Sadly armor just isn't a good defensive mechanism because of the scaling formula. +3 arbiter's basic attacks can deal over 5k phys damage and at your ~20,000 armor you're only going to get a 25% reduction in that should it hit. So you're definitely still in one shot territory with only 3k HP.

Warbringer tanks it at 3k hp. As for Titan, he can tank it also if he’s 34k (max scavage stacks). If not max stacks, it depends on roll of boss hit. I have 3.4k hp atm. Thing is. I’m ssf. If I was trade, this character would have 6k + hp easily. There he tanks it no matter what.

How do you feel about the fact that all that armor is basically useless and the unique body armor Cloak of Flame ALONE is equivalent to 40-45k armor for the oneshot hits ? In PoE2 you need around 12,5x the armor compared to the hit your take; that means to get a mitigation of lets say 70% on a 2k hit ... you need around 25k armor ... and thats not even factoring in the armor break or OVERWHELM mechanics. Please dont mislead people, especially new poe players, in thinking they can actually mitigate meaningful physical damage through armor.

Everyone's aware of how Armour is scaling at the moment. But generally speaking, except for very specific 1 shots from bosses, random rare mobs never come close to 1 shotting. Falling skeletons, big fat dudes, etc. Hopefully though they'll buff armour post new years. Also, how am I misleading anyone?

@@GrappLr In guiding ppl to spend currency towards armor gear when instead they just get cloak of flames and be done with it all together. The many small hits are taken care of by block anyway. Its just a useless stat to invest into.

He's not misleading people. I'm a new player and I want to live a tanky boy power fantasy. Is armor bad? Yes. Will it be better later? Probably. I am enjoying the play style. He's giving the best you can do with it now and I appreciate it. You didn't have to accuse him of being nefarious.

I understand everyone’s frustration recently but we are just in a dip of form (circumstances add to that, injuries etc). Despite being in the worst form for 3 years, Chelsea, City, Liverpool couldn’t beat us and we have beaten Spurs away Villa away and United. We have also had 3 red cards, and we are now sat second despite all of that. How can anyone say sack Arteta it’s actually so stupid. Basically the only argument is because we haven’t won a trophy yet, getting another manager means we will. People would risk our best shot for literally 25 years on nothing - as arsenal fans we let rivals fans, media etc control how we think too much. The media and internet is actually so toxic about Arsenal and it’s got arsenal fans stressed.
