I like this a lot, Don! A nice, simple base with a backdrop that may accommodate a variety of vehicles that may be switched out for display or contest entry purposes. A simple upgrade would be to add graffiti or propaganda posters to the wall to help set the scene. Thanks for sharing your skills, methods and ideas, Don! And have a very Happy Christmas! 28th Like.

Merry Christmas Don, I love the finished wall mate! You said that you laid the bricks flat instead of edge on but have you thought about laying them edge on to a piece of your thick card so that you'd get a more scale wall thickness? I have used your brick making method and carving into XPS foam and both ways have their advantages.
