Easy and healthy cabbage salad made with ingredients that are accessible. It is the perfect summer salad.
Recipe: Easy Cabbage Salad | Delicious and Healthy
Ingredients:
400 to 450g (14.1 to 15.9 oz) of cabbage
110g (⅔ cup) of canned corn
½ cucumber
1 green apple
6 tablespoons of natural yogurt
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
8g or a handful of fresh dill
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Slice the cabbage. Peel the apple, core and cut into small pieces. Transfer the apple to a bowl and add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well.
2. Dice the cucumber and finely chop the dill.
3. To a large bowl, add the cabbage, apple, cucumber, corn, yogurt, dill, salt, pepper and mix until well combined.
4. Serve with toasted bread or as a side dish with meat.
Notes/Tips:
The cabbage salad can last in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Sour cream can be used instead of natural yogurt.
