I ran 21psi on my 4.8 on this system and never had a problem. The main thing is getting you carburetor built correctly so that it can handle boost.

Very cool, but I'll stick the SBC. No modules, no computer, no coil packs. All adds up to more parts that can and do break down. Give me a distributor and coil and I'm ready to rock. No headaches during supply chain problems either.

Running the smart spark and holley 650 for 2 years now. Zero problems. Unfortunately people still act like dumbasses and don't install it correctly and cry they have problems because they don't know what they are doing. MSD LS ignition boxes are garbage.

The ignition system will handle it no problem. You would just need to be able tune your carb for the positive pressure of the supercharger

In the past you install a fuel adjustment to run e85 fuel… when running E85. What type of mileage you get vs normal gasoline

VS gasoline your MPG drops by almost half. Went from 12-15 down to 5-8mpg

Hey man. When hooking these up too power does it sound right to take my ignition wire run it too a fuse relay and then have the smart spark plug into that as well?

The smart spark should be hooked up to a fused ignition source so that it turns off when the Key is off and its also protected for shorting out. The relay is optional but not nessesary since it doesnt need more than 10amps to run properly. Ideally you'd want the ignition box on its own circuit but its not mandatory.

Ive never had a problem with the Daytona box in 3 years and tens of thousands of miles. It replaced my old MSD one that lasted a year.

the original pcm. It can be flashed to eliminate fuel control and work with a carburetor

"Cheap ls carb setup" First thing mentioned is a 700 dollar ignition system when the stock (free) harness works fine. I'll stick to FI lol
