This mod works with many digital watches! I spent a total of seven US dollars to make this happen. It could be cheaper depending on how clever you are! I saw this mod on Instagram and I had to try it! Come check it out!

You can get the colored plastic stuff at any school supply store/section or you can use similar stuff but don't let it be too thin. Too thin and it will be harder to handle. A better option would be to try and use gelatin filter material for photography as my friend Steven advised me of. Thanks Steven!

Last week this woman and I kept making eye contact at the gym. It happened a few times but I don't think anything of it. It just happens. It happens a lot actually. I think people are just checking the shit out of each other there and for all sorts of reasons. They are looking for sweaty love, judging, embarrassed, comparing or hoping someone is noticing them being so, super cool in their matching outfits.
After that I went to Walmart to get some things and then I saw her there! She saw me and I smiled and nodded like "what's up fellow gym person! Fancy seeing you here!"
She looked at me turned her head and said out loud "What the fuck you want!" all ghetto style. Tragic. The peanut became super small. It went IN.

The Royal is such an underrated Casio in terms of aesthetics. I mainly blame it on the strap. I actually got one and put it on a leather strap with white stitching and gave it to a friend for his birthday. He made a point of letting me know how many compliments he gets on it. Casio would sell more of these if the offered them on more than rubber and stainless straps. Get well soon and keep the vids coming. Oh yeah if you lost your voice whiskey mixed with honey is a great cure.

You'll find that all you have to do is peel off your original polarizing film and rotate it 90 degrees. Simple as that. You don't even need to buy anything to reverse your polarization, you could make the video tonight, a 2 minute job, and you'll make another quick 18 cents 😎

This looks like a super easy mod. Not much to go wrong. So this is made with those cheap notebook dividers? I like the idea that some of the viewers had about using multiple colors. I would probably do the analog round clock in yellow, leave the time zone and alarm indicators alone, and experiment with the main digital display. Maybe do those in yellow also and still leave the world map and alarms alone in their original configuration. I have many other watches to play around with.

There are lots of plastic films that would work.... Very nice video. The one you filled with mineral oil did nothing for me.... But THIS one, intrigued me... Take a look at photographic filter gels. Even the cheapest gels are easy to see through. Don't forget to peel off the protective layers.

I just did several of these today, but I used photography/videography color lighting gels. I got mine from an eBay seller in California with 99.9% positive feedback rating. They were approximately 11¾×8¼, 9 sheets, 1 of each in red, orange, yellow, blue, green, gray, pink, purple, and a 2nd shade of yellow for $12.66 with free shipping. Models I modded: Casio AE1200 black with green Casio AE1200 silver with orange Casio AE 1000 light gray with yellow SKMEI 1373 black with blue SKMEI 1373 black with red Next up tomorrow is going to be a Casio AE1000 dark gray with green and a Casio AE1000 silver with yellow. After that, who knows? I have a bunch of others to mod.

I have a SKMEI 1373 homage to the Casio AE1200. The backlight stopped working a few months ago, so I ordered another one. I now have a spare 1373 sitting around doing nothing that would make the perfect guinea pig for a mod like this. If something goes wrong, I can just pull the battery, throw the movement away, and throw everything else in a Ziploc bag for storage for when the day comes that something happens to my other 1373.

Nice vid, I bought a sample pack of photography gel filters on Amazon for cheap and did the same, it came with tons of color options on a ring. on the plus side you get options for every color and shade of the rainbow and each sample had room for about two watch faces ( in case you mess up! ;)

Terrible mod.. might as well tape the film on on the outside of the watch since thats pretty much the same effect lol. Thought youd be adding new LEDs which would actually make a difference
