Also I have found that Parchment Paper or Wax Paper comes in handy as an alternative work surface. Helps keep your clay from sticking, and also helps with any clean up afterwards.

Yeah.I rolled out a small cylinder of clay and put a needle inside one end. Baked it, and had a needle tool.

DONT MICROWAVE POLYMER CLAY ITS MADE FOR OVEN IT DOESNT HARDEN IN THE MICROWAVE AND IF YOU PUT FOIL IN THE MICROWAVE IT WILL EXPLODE I DONT WANT YOU TO HURT YOURSELF

don't microwave it. it's probably just going to explode so you will have to bake it according to your packaging instructions.
