Recipe
2 stalks of mustard leaves (or any leafy vegetables)
500gm of minced chicken
8 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 tbs oyster sauce
5 tbs of light soy sauce
½ tsp white pepper powder
½ tsp black pepper powder
1 tbs dark soy sauce
3 tbs of oil
Wanton noodles (you can get this from any asian stores)
5 tbs of chinese sesame oil
Method:
Heat the pan with some oil, then add in the garlic and let it cook until it starts to get slightly brown. Then add in the minced chicken, let it cook then add in the white & black pepper powder it altogether. Add the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and a pinch of salt. Add in the oyster sauce and give it a good mix until all the ingredients are well combined. Turn off the flame and keep it aside.
Then in a saucepan pour in 5 cups of water and let it come to a boil then pour in 1 tbs of oil (to give the vegetables a shine) cook the vegetables for 2 minutes when the vegetables are cooked remove and keep it aside. In the same water add in the wanton noodles, let the noodles cook for 2 minutes or so then turn off the stove and drain the noodles. Place the noodles in a bowl then add in the minced chicken and the leafy vegetable and finally drizzle it with some sesame oil and ENJOY this Chinese Noodles.
