Great video Luke! As a Dual Boiler owner, I couldn’t be happier to watch it as latte art has been my struggling since I got my machine. I’m progressing after watching several of Artisti videos achieving nice glossy milk, but I can’t create those patterns, my wrist is too tight and my timing poor. I ditched the original jug long time ago, the new works better but it’s the barista with issues 😆. I already watched this video 3 times and for sure I’ll keep watching it until I make something nicer than a smashed onion or atomic explosion! I look forward to watching more videos on this machine 😃👍

Would love to see more videos on the Breville dual boiler. I believe a lot of home baristas in Australia have this machine because of its capabilities and price range. Great video!

What's a good model jug for pouring latte art?
@KoffiePlus5 ай бұрын
Hi Luke, surely will try tomorrow. I've been using this Breville dual boiler since 2014, still struggling to make latte art though😅

This was very helpful. I love my Breville dual boiler. However, I struggle getting 8-9 bar pressure. Any tips on this would be great

After coma and mental disability the former job I remember the most is working at a cafeteria, remember how to pour and make vanilla syrup and chai mix and mocha mix and waffles there. when beginning pouring to pour higher to mix it with the espresso/exprés when it gets higher up get lower and begin making my design.

I'd like a similar video with the Breville Oracle. The steam wand has an automatic mode that does a decent job, but I don't know how that impacts the manual mode. I would be interested in seeing you steam milk for art using the manual mode and also playing with some of the automated settings.

I've had a Breville Dual Boiler for the last 3-4 months and really love it! But I find that I need to dose about 20g of beans into the double shot unpressurised basket as 18g seems to flow too fast despite grinding finer. When I get a nice 2:1 ratio, it results in a more bitter over extracted shot too and the puck always seems too wet. Increasing that to 20g and using the razor tool to help confirm the dose really helped. For reference I use Gumption Coffee Goodness Galileo. 20g of beans in, 42g out in about 28-30s. Milk frothing has been a hit and miss, sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't! But all the same its therapeutic, fun, and I get to have nice coffee at home. The only difference being whether I get a nice tulip or rosetta, or a large onion or blob. Keen to try some of these tips and see how it goes! Found the video really informative and detailed!

Thank you, glad you got something out of it. Yes you can do 20g that’s a lot for the basket. Max for us is 19.5g I found the 18g to work and I wanted to try keep the recipe how people want to make it at home . Keeps the $ down a bit. Yes a little wet, but not a problem

What would be grinder settings for double dose ? My single dose is great the same settings as you but double dose?

How do you get the handle hot? I have express touch

We usually just leave the handle in the group head to heat up :)

Hey, initially i got B2B for my home usage. It was fantastic machine! After awhile, i plan to make a pop up cart selling coffee near my house. Just want to ask is the B2B able to handle for coffee cart business?? 🙏🏻
@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters5 ай бұрын
If you are asking is the breville dual boiler ok for a cart, no. It has a max capacity at 10 or so cups in a row then it needs to cool down

Hi I bought a sunbeam mini barist and I have found that it dosnt make the milk that consistency that you get with this machine your using. Have tried many things even different milks etc. Someone said to me it depends on how much you spend on a machine. So I thought I might a special jug that circulates milk differently. Found one but it cost around $63. Thought I would give it a try.

Bought a Barista Touch Impress not long ago, probably a good decision because my wife uses it too. Wish I had the dual boiler though!

I’m just weighing out 80g of milk for my flat white and frothing on the Bambino Plus. No waste. Am I doing it wrong?
@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters6 ай бұрын
80g is 80ml so it sounds like you have the right amount for the cup your using. Cheers luke

What's the process when you have more than two latte orders ??
@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters6 ай бұрын
You can froth and split as I showed in the video but you need to double jug

Hi we have the same machine but how do you get the extraction to stop automaically? I have to stop it manually. Thanks
@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters6 ай бұрын
You use the menu buttons to enter the programming, then you press start with coffee in then you press it again to stop where you want it to end. Pretty easy

I'm sorry but those are really anaemic-looking results. The crema is pale and there's hardly any of it. Seriously - I have store-bought, light-medium Columbian beans called unpretentiously "Joe", that were roasted at least 6 months ago. I bought them at Trader Joe's. I just dialed-in my new grinder - a Baratza Sette 270 that only arrived this morning. I made 4 cappuccinos just now using my 20-year old Livia 90 and the results are outstanding: dark brown crema - over 1/4" of it on a single shot. I frothed the milk using 2% milk and I'm a total amateur. Yet the results are fabulous: mid-dark brown crema and terrific-looking. The taste is fabulous - sweet, silky-smooth and luxurious. I'm not yet good at latte art but they already look wonderful. I don't have a pressure gauge and I also don't have a thermometer. My old Livia 90 has no automatic features. I grind a single shot on the Baratza grinder in 4.5 seconds, on macro setting 3. I use about 20 lbs of force when tamping. It takes 10 seconds for the coffee to emerge from the portafilter and I then count another 22 seconds.

And I remember how to steam it, for a cappuccino macchiato and latte. after coma i learned how to say milk in three other languages i first learned how to say it in English and Ukrainian languages. Now in Spanish and Italian and Polish.
