This reminds me of the granny square that creative grandma posted a video on probably a year ago or so. I crocheted several of these to gift someone and they love them so much. Not only are they beautiful but they’re very fun to crochet.

I started this square, then decided to keep going continuing to do those 2 rows. I'm making this into a blanket for my bigger brother. Using alot of variety of colors. Square keeps getting bigger. I started this, this morning, and I manage to get more than 10 rows done in one day. So thank you for a simple stitch pattern and it's not you usual granny squares.

Went bad to see your kitty. What a cutie. Mine passed away the first year of covid of Cat cancer, So to hear your was like getting a hug. Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I’m doing one large blanket in a variegated yarn called Carrot Mix. It seems strange to turn the piece over as I’m used to just keep going around so the piece has an obvious right and wrong side but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. 👍🏼🤗😆
