I have tried literally 5 other tutorials and although they make beautiful holders and the comments seem to respond well to them, for me, this is by FAR the best and simplest tutorial! Thank you! I am preparing to sell these at a small market to raise money for our women’s ministry program! My first attempt took 30 minutes and my second took 10! Thank you again!

I love that she used a Bobby pin for her stitch marker! I’ve never thought of that.

It’s honestly so much easier than opening and closing those flimsy silicone ones. Most of my tricks come from my own laziness🤣

If I make another increase, would it still be 2 sc in each?
@DaysCrochet Жыл бұрын
No. On the next round, you would only increase in every other stitch or it will start to ruffle

May I ask why you aren’t a fan of the magic circle? I’m a beginner and I’m just trying to learn the most versatile (and easiest) ways to crochet. Thank you!
@DaysCrochet Жыл бұрын
I once made a large blanket of motifs where I used (what I thought was) the magic circle. I washed it prior to gifting and every one of the motifs came apart in the middle 😩
@HeidiTheiss-h3p Жыл бұрын
That must have been really sad! Well this is a great video. I appreciate how easy it is to follow and the result looks really good. Do you think that how you start this project could substitute for a magic circle in other projects? I would hate for my creations to be destroyed in the wash. Thank you for the video and your reply ⭐️
@DaysCrochet Жыл бұрын
@@HeidiTheiss-h3p thank you! Yes, a chained ring can be substituted for a magic circle just about anywhere. But please don't let my poor experience keep you from trying it🙏🏻 It is definitely because I did it wrong. Many people use it with no trouble. I just decided I wasn't willing to risk it again.

Thanks for sharing this pattern, the loop idea and little details make it super cute! 🤍 I would love to make these for my new shop. How do you prefer to be credited for the pattern?
@DaysCrochet Жыл бұрын
Crediting me isn't really necessary. If you share on social media, I would love for you to tag me @dayscrochetnc , but otherwise, I don't need you to put my name on your physical products☺️

I usually buy an assortment on Amazon or in Walmart in their bead aisle. I would link the one on Amazon, but it’s sold out

@@DaysCrochet the 8mm is way to small and I crocheted thee loop with a 2.75. I even tried drilling the hole bigger. 8mm large hole bead, is that what I’m looking for?
@DaysCrochet Жыл бұрын
@@TheSunRisesNSets I use a super small hook (maybe a B or C) to bring the chain loop through the bead. They are fairly big holes. Not those beads on the strand. Wooden bead assortments are usually a good size
