I love this pattern! The only thing I'd change is to use cotton yarn because I'm too nervous to use acrylic yarn with heated stuff.

Yeah! I found the stitch pattern on the Secret Yarnary. It's the Sober Granny stitch, using multiples of 4 plus 2. So, if you need to increase the size of the cozy, you'd increase the multiple. 😊

Suggest using a hook one half to a full size up for your chain after the marker. It will make it easier to crochet at the back of the chain.

Hi Christa. I love the cozy. What modification would I need for a larger mug. The handle of my mugs are 12cm as opposed to 9cm and the mug is 3 com higher. Should I do 3 or 4 extra chains for the handles and maybe one or 2 more repeat rows. Do you have an idea for mugs with the handle bottom on a slant. Love your channel ❤
