Easy Crochet Ear Bud Case

This design came to me while browsing Pinterest for gift ideas. It is classy yet functional and very easy to make.

Supplies Needed:
- Approx. 20-30 yds of a WW cotton or cotton blend
- An F 3.75 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
- An 8.0 or 10.0 mm button or bead
- A 30 mm lobster clasp with link attachment
- 2 stitch markers, scissors, and a tape measure
Gauge:
22 sc and 22 rows = 4"
Finished Measurements:
Finished case should fit Airpods Pro case very snugly. I recommend trying the case on every few rounds to make sure it fits properly.

I followed your pattern but had to improvise a lot because my Airpods are 2nd generation (tall and narrow body). I made a few mistakes but I still think it turned out quite well for my first time and I'm a beginner too. I wish I could show you a picture of my results. Thanks for the video!

Your video was most excellent!! Love the design, my case turned out, a lot bigger than my airpod pros.. lol..I even used a smaller hook size, must be the type of cotton yarn I picked out.. I got some sugar and cream WW .. maybe I put too many rounds somewhere haha.. but I still love it!! Thank you so much!!

Did you by chance make a gauge swatch? I listed my gauge in the description box below the video. I think perhaps in this project that gauge is fairly important. I’m glad you still like your case though☺️

I just finished this pattern at 2am because I’m slow and a perfectionist 😂 had to adjust a tiny bit because I think my yarn was just a little bit big but not 100% sure 😂 but anywho I really liked how it turned out I’m very pleased with it my husband said it’s. 10/10 😂 now for my next project the cup cozy wallet one you have. How did you determine to start with 11 stitches? I ha e a different set of earbuds and would like to adapt this style

Basically just made it the length of the bottom minus a bit since I would be adding length when I added the rounds at the bottom. I think my written pattern mentions the ways my testers adapted the pattern for their ear bud cases.

You would have to modify it since they are a completely different size and shape. You want it to be a snug fit regardless. I'm sorry I can't be more help!

I’ve not heard of those but the main consideration is the shape of the case. You could probably improvise. But this pattern is specifically for Airpod Pros. I’m sorry!

Start with a ch of 7 instead of 11 and add 3 rows to the body. The flap will probably need a few extra rows as well.
