I am so glad to find you doing this pattern! I have been practicing on this for a few days and when thinking I made a mistake, I frog. For me, frogging is a great learning tool. Trying, too, to follow the chart which I've never done on crochet. Since I'm only at Row 3, and my work looks like something is wrong, here I am - and soooo glad to be here! TY. Yes, I now crossed off the 3 errors.

Thank you for sharing and showing how to read this pattern and the chart. This is my stuck in traffic project now because of the repeated rows I can sit and work on this one even in the car. You explain it so well Mikey.

Thank you Mikey! For some crazy reason I had a lot of trouble with this at first. I put it aside for a few months and was able to pick it back up and magically understood reading the pattern! This is a bday present for my sister and I think she's going to love it!!

I started this pattern with a #5 Bulky yarn, and I ended up unwinding the whole thing and starting over with a #4. That's much better. I'm sure the pattern can be adapted for a bulky yarn by adding more chains, but I'm not sure how it would be done. Love the pattern with a 4 yarn, though! Thanks.

Accorditto the diagram, for round 2,4,6 etc, shows to chain six. On written pattern says to chain seven. I have already started fhe shawl with chain seven. Am I doing it wrong? Anyhow, you are the best teacher ever! 💝💝💝

Hi, Mikey. I was just wondering that on you pattern for rounds 2,4,6 it shows that you chain up 6. But on the pattern from yarnspiration pattern it shows that you chain up 4 and then 3 more a total of seven. So which pattern is right? I love this pattern ,but I just wanted to know which was the right chain count. Chain up 6 or do I chain up seven there are two different diagrams, sow which one is right?
@wilmaettason88565 жыл бұрын
Can you make this with a loom thank you

Hi Mikey! On this shawl diagrams the end of rows 2,4,6 extra it shows a chain of 3. But when you go on the yarnspiration sight it shows 4 chains in between 2,4,and 6 extra. So I was just wondering if there is two different diagrams for this pattern. So am I to put 2 chains or 4 chains in? I was following you on you tube and you uses 3. But later when I looked the pattern up it shows 4 chains! So which is the right diagram to fellow?

Hi Mikey. One year ago I asked the same question. Ends.2,4,6,etc. your shows that you chain up 6 but on the pattern it shows 4+3=7 and in the writing it says to chain up 4+3=7 too! So do I chain a total of 6 or is it a total of 7 ? You do the 6 because your pattern shows 6 . You even say 6 when your showing how to make it . So please which is the right way to do it? I asked One year ago and never got an answer of which was the wright count of chains to use, so if you could please answer me back Donna K. Helman. PS I never got my shawl finished a year ago because of there being two different diagrams of this patterns the one you have and a different one that we print out, so which one is wright?

stand by... I started answering every comment ever received as of April 2021. Just give me a few minutes to review this pattern and see if this jogs my memory. I'll see which one is right.

Donna, it appears they have done a pattern update since I have filmed. As you mentioned, the original I show has Ch 6 at the beginning. It makes sense they changed it to 7 as the first st is supposed to be a tr. I'm sorry for the confusion. If you were doing 6 already, you can probably keep going like I did but if you are starting over or near the beginning, do ch 7. I hope you have a great Sunday.

Hi Mikey! I have a question for you. On this Diagram you’re showing shows
@CMD5864 жыл бұрын
This tutorial is excellent but there are still differences between this and the published pattern. Most significantly the pattern says to chain 7 in the spots where you say to chain 6
@donnahelman68555 жыл бұрын
I have a question why does it say to chain 7 ? But on the diagram it shows a chain a chain 6 so what do you do a chain 7 or a chain 6? The. On the odd rows do you chain 3 or do you chain 4? There again it says to chain 4 but the diagram shows only 3 chains. So what is wright. The Diagram or what in written in the Directions? Donna k Helman
@tinamoore81205 жыл бұрын
Apparently the diagram has been fixed and the designer needs to go through proper channels to fix the written. Its all good.
@tinamoore81205 жыл бұрын
The diagram doesn't match the written in the chaining. It says chain 7 in the written and only 6 in the diagram. It also says chain 4 in the written but shows chain 3 in the diagram. I would like to make this at some point.
@TheCrochetCrowd5 жыл бұрын
Great. It seems you know what needs to be fixed. That's great. :) The designer has already fixed the diagram but needs to go through the proper channels to have the website to be updated.
