Just finished the first mitten! Thank you for the tutorial, it's easy to follow! But I must say, even though I used the same materials as you, my mitten turned out much shorter and smaller, so I had to add rows to many places. I am a beginner so I don't know if it's something about my tension perhaps?

Hey there!! I am loving your tutorial so far, it is so clear! Thank you. I’ve made a mistake though and I’m wondering if you can explain how I did it… I’m almost done with the ribbing part and the part that I finished with is way longer (more stitches) than when I started.. I’ve done this in the past with other projects on accident. Do you know what I’m doing wrong??
@CherilynQ2 ай бұрын
Hii! Thank you! It sounds like you increased at the end of the row by accident. Use a stitch marker to mark that last stitch and make sure to only work 1 stitch in it. Let me know if this helps 🥰
@madisonrae2883 ай бұрын
with the part that goes around your wrist, could you do the same thing but only with 8 instead of 15 to half the length so it doesn’t need to be folded over?
@CherilynQ3 ай бұрын
Sure, that’s correct. Just chain less 😊

Should I follow the same steps from the right glove on the left one as well? I’m not sure if it’s the same or not.

I’m confused I’ve done my first ten rows and I just cannot work out where to put the stitch markers for the thumb hole if you could tell me from where my slip stitch is how many stitches to count across and what stitch I should put the markers in please
@twocoolcatsandadog11 ай бұрын
From what I gather the stitch markers go in the 12th stitch and the 14th stitch. Good Luck!

Hey! Love this design, it is so simple and beautiful❤ I am currently crocheting at the ribbed end, and no matter what I try it doesn’t get straight? It tilts kind of? Do you have any suggestions?
@CherilynQ Жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 By not straight, you mean the ribbing gets thinner/thicker? If so, make sure to use stitch markers to mark out the first and the last stitch of each row as you move forward so you don't accidentally increase or decrease.
@mjperfume15232 ай бұрын

Hi! I’m a beginner and I’ve beeb following your tutorials. Made my first beanie with your tutorial. Tqsm! I’m just wondering can I double the size? Like instead of 8 stitches, I do 9 And so on? I have bigger hands than yours 😢
@CherilynQ8 ай бұрын
Hi! I’m glad my beanie tutorial helped. How many stitches you should make depends on your gauge. If your 8 stitches measures longer than my 8 stitches, then with 9 stitches, your gloves would definitely be bigger than mine.
