For anyone who's looking, but can't tell what's gonna be an easy first crochet project, this one is great! The instructions are wonderful and very easy to follow! I was very pleased with the way my cute little octopus turned out 😄 the only thing I would suggest is take your time and pay attention to the increase( skipping the loop and when to not) I didn't pay attention the first time and it turned out flat 🤣 I’m very happy with the way it turned out and am very thankful for Club Crochet 😊🙏

This is really cute! and I know it’s a few years late but I feel like someone should tell you octopus mouths are underneath, the little tube that comes out should be on their side it’s called a siphon and it’s used to clean themselves and propel and a bunch of other stuff just fyi😅😂

For anyone who struggles with the magic ring (like me) all you need to do is chain 2 (the slip knot counts as a chain so chain 1) and start your magic ring by doing sc/ dc into the first chain

im having an issue with the mouth, i think i have made all th eproper stitches, but it appears less opened.it looks more half-spherical than cylindrical, any ideas?
@ClubCrochet3 жыл бұрын
So it could be that you did not turn for Step 2 of the mouth and you're seeing the back of the stitches which point inwards more, or it might be that it just needs some tweaking and stretching a bit because the stitches are a little tight. Let me know if that helps!
@alexanderhinke88813 жыл бұрын
@@ClubCrochet so, i think it was actually my yarn that was causing problems. i had a kinda flimsy yarn and today i made another octopus with another yarn and it just looks so much better, but making sure the stitches werent too tight also helped i think :) btw: i remember you talking about acourse for sevloping your own patterns, is that still coming up? absolutely love your content
