WOW Crystal you are the ONE. GREAT teacher. Thank you for this pattern. I love the half double crochet. I make blankets for Cancer Center and I think these blankets work up so nice and look so nice cosy. Half double crochet glides across my needle effortlessly when it meets the right yarn. Thanks so much for all you do for us and I enjoy your Family so much. Erik is probably planning his garden already. I’m from the little town of Toulon, Illinois. In the country. Thanks again 😊

Hey Crystal, great tutorial! This is by far my fav ripple blanket!! Love it!! Soooooooo pretty!!!! I have 4 colors of yarn in 4 weight I bought a coupe yrs ago to make a blanket for my son but couldn’t crochet, was trying to decide what pattern to use. Was thinking granny squares.. but now thinking this!!! I might do lingerie rows of one color tho… like 6 rows then switch colors … It’s black, creme, navy, and gold… That’s what he liked back then.. he’s changed colors since, but I’m not buying all new yarn!!! I’m sure he’ll love it!! Maybe I’ll have enough to do a pillow or two also.. or a small blankie for his little dog Ace!! He only weighs 10 lbs!! ❤️

So I want to do a project in a ripple stitch so I go on youtube and look at all the ripple patterns and try a coouple out, not fond of the way they turned out. I think, I love half double crochet and none of them ared half double crochet. Spent a good two hours looking at vids and trying out stitches. Then I think let's type in crochet ripple half double crochet. Bingo, this video comes up. Why didn't I look for bag o day in the first place, duh. So complete, answering all my questions, you tell me the yardage you used, it's all there with the friendliest atmosphere. I'm already subscribed or I would subscribe again. As always, thank you!
