Foundation chain 200 (or however many for the length you want the scarf to be) and then single crochet under the stitch for row 1. Then the rest of the rows are a single stitch into the back loops only, as she's showing. I was very determined to understand this video bc its beautiful 😊

The chain size for this is the length you want your scarf to be. She did say 200 so that would give you the length of hers if your yarn/hook were the same. I just chained how many I wanted and put it around my neck to make sure it was the right size I wanted.

@@rosanneryan7817 No but I have made many scarves like this. It is a repeat of the 2nd row for the entire thing. You don't skip the first chain.

More instructions needed if this is a tutorial: Where to insert the hook? Is the first row different from the second row?

Thanks for the effort, but this tutorial is impossible to understand. Should we insert the needle in all stitches or should we skip some? In which hole should we insert the crochet needle? Also, when is the yarn going in front of the needle and to the back of the needle? I slowed down as much as I could, but to no avail. Slower and precise instructions are needed, followed by repetition, so we can fully learn. Thanks!

It is very easy !! Its the same stitch over and over. No skip stitches anywhere.

Would be nice if you state the yarn brand and hook size and clear on your directions. It was Especially after the chain row. Had to really zoom in to see where you inserted the hook. Otherwise, it's a pretty scarf. What is the color and brand of the yarn.

She says in the video that she is using #5 bulky weight yarn. I would guess she's using a 6mm hook to go with it. I hope this helps.

This is a very pretty scarf but as a beginner I found your instructions very vague and confusing. Crocheting into the end stitches needs explaining as well - your handiwork is beautiful but your explaining needs a lot more work.
