Very lovely pattern and thanks for sharing it with us.

This looked both beautiful and complicated. That's what attracted me. It took me about 1000 yards of Caron simply soft bone color yarn and two weeks of sporadic crocheting to complete the project. It looks regal! Compliments to Jasmine Tea for clear, detailed instructions that this 74 y/o man could easily follow. My finished shawl has about 10 repeats (or 10 pineapples in the final row). I ended with the row of 13 single crochets on top of the five puff stitches row. The shawls I make are donated to a Hospice program. I'm excited for someone to receive this soft, regal, warm, wrap around shawl. Now on to another of Jasmine Tea's patterns!

This comment makes me so happy! 💕 I’m very glad you enjoyed it and were able to make such a warm, beautiful gift for someone who will definitely love it! I appreciate you letting me know how many yards it took for you to create this, as well! It will be extremely helpful for others who wish to create one. Again, thank you very much for your support and kindness 💙

Seven of your patterns are now in stages of completion. I have been crocheting for over forty years , the challenge of your patterns have given me so much fun and enjoyment. Your instructions are easy to follow, not hurried, very clear and I can continue with no problems. Maybe one small one, I cannot seem to keep the number of chains placement in this pineapple puff pattern. The video helps so I will continue. Need some yarn, new unused balls. Thanks again for your fantastic videos. Have a happy day!

Is there a written pattern? It’s a fabulous pattern. I struggle with the repeats as the pattern grows, thinking written might be easier to follow.

Hi Do you have a written pattern WITH a diagram? I will pay. Also, I would love to see a finished project on or off a Model. A manikin would work too. It’s difficult to get a perspective on how a finished garment will look from a swatch ? Most importantly because this is 3D so to speak, I would love to see how this falls on the neck. Thank you.

How do I know when to split the cables in the middle of the shawl?: Or will it do it on its own as it gets larger
@JasmineTeaCrochet2 жыл бұрын
Great question! The cables only split on the edges of the shawl. Never in the middle. Hope that helps!

i love this but i dont know were to start the next step or the split in pattern ile try and figure it out hope i can as i just started to crochet so not so easy for me thankyou
@rebeccaaitchison2703 Жыл бұрын
It's a 6 row repeat, so after you have done 6, your 7th becomes the 1st of 6, which is the split row
@skyeblu78857 ай бұрын
Are the splits only done on the outside rows, you don't show any in the interior😢

@@JasmineTeaCrochet I found all of the answers so far now I just need to know how or when to end the pattern on a shawl so sorry
@JasmineTeaCrochet2 жыл бұрын
@@cindypoplawski9928 no worries :) I would just end it whenever you reach your desired size. Unfortunately, there are no ending/leveling rows for this shawl. Maybe just end it when it looks straight? 😊

How many yards to do a fairly large shawl? At least 60-70 inches wide?
@terrybocanegra15503 жыл бұрын
I love this! Can you tell me how many yards or skeins you used for the shawl? ❤️🧶❤️
@JasmineTeaCrochet3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for the inquiry! If using the exact yarn I used in the tutorial, I would estimate around 5-7 skeins depending on how large you want the shawl 💕
@terrybocanegra15503 жыл бұрын
Great, thank you….I do plan on using the same yarn. 😊
@JasmineTeaCrochet3 жыл бұрын
@@terrybocanegra1550 sounds great!! I would recommend using a larger hook than the 2.7mm I used in the video. The tension was a little too tight :(
@rosannagarrison7863 жыл бұрын
I love the shawl . I was writing down the pattern , your instructions are clear and easy to understand. You did not mentioned how many rows there were and what rows were the repeats. It would be helpful if you mentioned that for the next time . Also mentioned what rows do you do the split. I would like it if it was a little more specific. It makes it easier for me. Thanks
@JasmineTeaCrochet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback! I will be sure to take your suggestions into account for my next video 💗 As for the repeats: When you get to row 10, it begins repeating from row 4. Also, for the split, a trick I remember is that it always happens on the row AFTER the 13 single crochets are made on top of the 6 puff stitches ( So the split begins on row 10 because the 13 single crochets are on row 9). I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions :)

I mean this kindly, when you do the shell or puff end stitch you’re not pulling through 3 but 5 because of the yarn over. This might be a small point to some, but it was confusing to me.

I enjoyed the tutorial but didn't understand where the repeat started
