Update!! It’s been a long, rough month, but I’m almost done with this! I’m so excited to finish and wear it :D I’ve had my eye on this top for quite a while, but I always felt like I was “too big” to make and wear pretty things like this myself. I did some soul searching (and lots of kind self talk, also some from my mom 🥺), and today I’ve decided I’m going to see this project to completion. I’m very excited to start, and I hope to edit this comment once I’ve finished it! 💝 Also to anyone reading this, don’t let anyone stop you from making or doing the things you love by saying you’re too fat, too skinny, too busty, too flat, too this, too that… the world will never be happy with one or the other, so just do the things that bring *you* the joy you deserve. 💖💝💖💝

That would also be useful to follow along as a learning tool with your awesome tutorial 😁 What inspired you to create this specific top? it is absolutely stunning! I can actually picture creating it with several different yarns - having different effects and textures and colours and with the stitch versatility and shaping of the top. @@ioannat5738 Hi there, I've only just begun making this top and I've crocheted around 8 rows, but it seems that by chaining only 2 before turning my work at the begining of each row (instead of chaining 3 like in most tutorials on double crochet) I'm losing a stitch every 2 row, did you have the same problem making this ? I hope yours turned out well !! 😊
@ioannat57382 жыл бұрын
@@Om-iq1oh hmm to be honest I can't quite remember since I made this last year. I definitely didn't have this problem, but I'm not 100% sure how I did it. If I were to recreate it now, I would chain 1, turn my work, and dc in the second space from my hook (so, not the chain I just did but the very next space). Tutorials that use the chain 3 method usually place the dc in the 5th space from the hook (so, not the 3 chains they just did, and not the very next space, but the space after these 4). I personally prefer the first method, and from this video I'm not very sure what the pattern creator is doing. Was this at all clear? Hope it made a bit of sense😅

I bough it on shoppee, you may use any yarn that is available from your country. Just follow the steps on how to adjust the size by getting your own measurement with the use of measuring tape.😚

Hi, Cijeeey! How could I increase and decrease so that my sleeves are not too wide? So far I only have problems with that. PS: Thank you very much for the tutorial, the top is very very nice. :)

Helloo, you'll notice at first that the sleeves look wide, but eventually it'll become smaller if you follow the decrease (2 dc together) for each round 😅

I have a question regarding the sleeves, is it 6 rounds of increase and 6 rounds of decrease or is it 4 rounds only?

I'm not sure abt that bc the local yarns I bought are based on weight (there's no indicated length)
