It must be so hard to not have an oven/stove! My grandmother still has a wood stove and has to get creative when we go through heatwaves, she lives in central Australia. Keep an eye out for second hand electric frypans, toaster ovens or even rice cookers. My nanna uses these when the weather is hot. She is almost 90 and incredibly stubborn about keeping her wood stove.

Perfect timing, Brooke! I'm a kid at heart myself, and I do love to use my crockpot as the weather gets warmer instead of heating up the whole apartment. 💲Also, Walmart has had their French Bread loaves on sale lately for $1! I've been buying that instead of a sliced loaf. I even feel a bit fancy, LOL! I put it in the fridge, and it keeps just fine! I made the pizza bubble up last night. I live in Texas and never heard of a bubble up. Well, it tasted really good but the edges burned and I found pockets of uncooked dough. So today I’m gonna cut off the burnt part and put it in the oven for half an hour or so and see if that cooks the dough the rest of the way. My two family members will not eat anymore so I’ll probably divide it up and freeze it for myself. I cooked it for exactly 2 hours and I cut the biscuits up into six pieces and toss them with the tomato sauce and some olive oil. So I don’t know why I had issues with it but it’s very good and I think I would like to make it again, but in the oven.

Well I just spent 5 days in the hospital this week with extremely high blood pressure, so I'm suppose to take it easy and this is perfect these meals are going on my grocery list...We are Empty Nester's but the grandkids do spend every other weekend with us.....Great ideas!!!!! Brooke thank you for these recipes. My mind is going in different directions right now. I wonder if it would work if you did like a chicken and dumplings using the biscuits, cream of chicken, milk frozen peas with carrots and cooked chicken......? I love chicken pot pie and dumplings made with the biscuits. My grandson would probably like a Buffalo chicken version of this also. Worse case it isn't great and I don't make it again. I'm thinking they would turn out. I'm going to try them. Thanks!

🎉🎉A recipe, you should try. Chuck roast, Large can of cream a mushroom soup, Low sodium beef gravy packet in a crockpot once done serve over Angel hair pasta with shredded mild Cheddar cheese on top.. My take on chicken spaghetti, but with beef.

Braden reminds me of my son Jake who we lost at 15 years of age to cancer. But he would eat just about anything i cooked and you knew it was good just by the look on his face and how happy it made him. That kid would always try everything even new. My other son whos older still is 19 years old and refuses to eat a lot of what i cook unless its something he likes. Good meals i may have to try a couple out. Would love the pizza one but sadly here in Australia we don't have that dough

My kid is a texture weirdo. And she hates texture of rice so I figured I could make that dish with maybe some kinda noodles. She also doesn't like texture of biscuits cooked that way cause of being soft and gooey, but I haven't thought of a substitute for that. Does anyone have any ideas?? These look yummy. My husband and I would like them too. My oldest daughter is like Brayden. She enjoys just about everything. My youngest is picker than picky. She eats very little. I will try these though. Three of the four of us will eat them. As I was watching the pizza bubble up with the mini pepperoni, I got a vision of little Smokies or hot dogs sliced with BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese and the biscuits. Or mini meatballs with tomato sauce and mozzarella with the biscuits. Might be tasty. Like you said, they can be changed up. I wouldn't have thought of them without your ideas first though. Thanks!! You could do powdered sugar or peanut butter on top of that french toast recipe too! If you dont like maple syrup or don't have any, and any fruit would be good as well, banana, peaches, pears...the sky is the limit! They all look great!
