This is a quick project that just took a couple hours to complete. These legs are made from solid walnut and are for a bed. The legs were attached to the bed frame using preexisting holes in the frame where the old legs were attached. I marked the hole locations on site, predrilled the holes in the legs and used 1/4" x 3" lag screws with washers.

DUDE! this is exactly what I'm looking to build, even the same kind of wood... How difficult would those cuts be to make on a miter saw?...
@JTWoodworks

To make the angled cuts on a miter saw? Not sure I'd try that. I'd rather do it by hand if I didn't have another option. Miter saw seems sketchy

Did you ever find a solution for bad cuts on the table saw? I work with furniture and I also make wooden legs for some of the models, but I sometimes need to cut stuff on the table saw and then I have to sand a lot to compensate for the bad cuts. Maybe we just have crappy machines?

It helps greatly to take small cuts. If you can lower blade and cut half way and then raise the blade to fully cut the material, that might help out. It's all about understanding the capabilities of your tools

Why not use the table saw and sled to make the tampered ends, rather than the band saw?
