I love these videos because they give me inspiration as to what to build for a horde base. I'd love to see videos of the most minimalist and quick horde bases, since that would mean more time looting and questing and less time building a horde base.

melee base worked incredibly well for day 7, even on insane nightmare barely even had to repair anything, they mostly damaged the 1 block in front of me Thanks for sharing this 👍

I love this video. I’ve gotten to day 41 so far and the base is the least of my worries, leaving me time to do trader jobs and explore. (I used the first base)

for the grenade hatch you can place a arrowslit ramp (i think thats the right piece) below the hatch so you can't fall through and it will make the pipe bomb or other explosive roll down into a more precise spot

Sounds like a good adjustment!

Liking the melee base. Especially for a MP game. We always have some players that want to melee and some that are gun happy, can you guess which side I'm on lol

Very good bases.. your first one has all the things i usually include in my early bases well in all my bases really except I usually put something for them to jump over (bars) at the other end of the tight rope headed toward my fighting position slow them down a bit more sends some falling down and back around again makes a more orderly queue for zombie smacking stabbing or blasting. I need to try the loop base I kind of accidentally built one utilizing the walls around a car park leading to zig zag path to my fighting position in aplpha 20. I'll try yours in my next A21 playthrough

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Accidental loop sounds cool haha, always fun when you stumble into a good base design.

Design like this works well, i would just add keep this base near your end game base, upgrade it to cement later. It saved me on day 60 my main horde base failed i still managed to hold last few in game hours in this.

Very nicely done. Always nice to get new options. I am having issues since A21 hearing the direction the zombies are coming from. Have you noticed that or should I look through some settings for stereo? I could usually hear which direction zombies were coming from in A20. Thank you. Great as always.

I haven't noticed that myself, but I have been snuck up on a few times by totally silent Zombies which irritates me no end!

Good info! The day 7 hordes feel a lot tougher in Alpha 21

Personally for me they're way easier, i usually die always on die 7 from the hordes (with increased horde spawn settings and longer day on) but on this update i easily managed to survived a whole day by just hiding in a sewer in a city and just use wooden traps and cobblestone walls with a gap so i could attack the horde without being damaged and it worked flawlessly.

Just a heads up to anyone watching the first base no longer works as of alpha 21 sadly, if a cop jihads himself in front of the bars they break immediately.
@The-Two-Five Жыл бұрын
These bases are intended for day 7 as per the video title. I don't think I've ever seen a cop day 7 so it should still be fine for the first horde. Thanks for watching!

Хорошие идеи. Попробуйте еще ступень из зеркальных блоков 1/2 в вертикальном положении. Зомби падают в образованное отверстие. Г _I I

I not only liked your video but I subscribed to you as well 😂 Ok ok the ladders on the steps is a new idea for me and I got 3k hours in game. Taught me something. Pretty sure we get exp for trap kills now including spikes. Matter fact one skill tree increases the amount of XP you get.

Well, that felt like it "hordly" took any time to impart a lot of useful info. I think it would be nice if player-placed spikes and barbed wore gave a limited amount of xp.

Neebs Gaming are awesome! Although nerd poling is actually a very old Minecraft term to describe stacking up on blocks, I don't think Neebs came up with it
