I use to use zip ties for my job. FYI...A pair of needle nose pliers in hand makes the job so much easier.

Does zip tying it to the pipes create stability? It seems like the poles would fall over or is it not heavy?

The correct poles are capable of holding the weight properly....it is heavy and still in tact three years later...

Hi there! I am doing an event for my daughter's high school using the exact greenery wall you suggested and have assebled it. I bought a pipe and drape kit, but the greenery wall is so heavy it's putting too much pressure on the middle of the pie and drape and not able to withstand the weight. Buy the looks of the video, you have a thicker and sturdier pipe and drape kit. Can you let me know where you purchased yours? Thank you so much for the helpful video!

My pleasure…. They honestly don’t make them this heavy anymore… everything that I’ve purchased post Covid has lacked in that area… I purchased it at Georgia Expo… What I recommend now is using two crossbars to hold the weight… Hope that makes sense….

Hello, love your work. I’m trying a similar project, but with rose backdrop panels. After attaching them using zip ties, will the back fencing hold up placing it directly on the backdrop stand or is it recommended that I use plywood or syrofoam since it does have some weight to it.

The greenery held up for me using hooks and zip ties on my backdrop stand. However, the stand has to be secure enough to hold up...

Mine held up with a sturdy backdrop stand, hooks and zip ties... I would recommend trying it out ahead of time and added enforcement as needed... the other elements make travel a little more difficult.
