Both styles of your videos are great, each one has it's place. The technical ones with the talk through are nice because it explains how it works and what you've encountered using the components. The build videos with no voice are awesome to watch and your camera perspectives and music makes them like you're watching an artistic video. Thanks for the awesome videos, you seem like a really cool dude.

No problem, Jason! Arguably, audio quality could be a reason. Some combo amp/Bluetooth boards don't use the highest quality of either, but that depends. Are you you going to hear a huge difference between two boards or one? Probably not. Thanks for watching!

Great video, but dang, surprised how expensive all those little bits and bobs are. I'm trying to figure out if I can take the board from one of those little can shaped bluetooth speakers, gut the board, and wire it to the speaker I have in an old gutted tube radio. Problem is, the battery is unmarked (I think it's 3.7v), and I'd like to convert it to use an ac adapter, but I don't know a lot about amperage.

How do you match speakers properly to the amp or power.? I am attempting a bluetooth system. I want great sound , great sound first and loudness second. I want bass i can feel with full range from tweeters, midrange, bass with punch and very low sub. What do i look for as far as electronics? How do i choose proper components to give proper power to each speaker? I want a box with a 8" or 10" sub a couple smaller speakers for punch and a couple more for mids and a couple or whatever recommended for tweet.

I used your video for a speaker build using an a 50s era radio for a speaker box. It turned out great. I have one question for you. While the speaker sounds pretty good, it seems to miss the higher range of sound. For example, if I were to play the Beatles song Dear Prudence, there is pretty much no sound for the intro part of the song. Can I add a tweeter to improve the sound? Or do I need to wire a speaker to both the right and left speaker cirucits?

Those things are called ferrite cores and they help eliminate any high frequency noise in the circuit. They aren't totally necessary, but they are included in the little amp kit I used, so why not use em! I'll be doing a video on making a portable speaker soon! Thanks for watching!
