@E-Bomb-rm8me Жыл бұрын
If you have two speakers, you can use the one board, just twist the two (+)'s together and two (-)'s as well and complete job as described. If you use two boards (one for each speaker) then make double sure your smart phone is capable of playing two BT devices at the same time. My S22 Ultra can do this with caveat - one speaker has a slight lag creating an echo. Major bummer.

I am trying to figure out if the amp unit that is a replacement for the original one you used/suggested on the video is one that does not have to be button control? When I pull the similar unit on Amazon it is much more complex. To the left of the diagram it show buttons for play/pause and keeping pressing to switch mode. That is where I am confused. According to your video you mentioned you did not want to have push buttons, understandable. How does it pair with my phone such that it is a once and done as far as button controls? I am a novice at this, just learning so if I sound like I am not knowledgeable, that would be correct. Thank-you

Don't be left with the impression you take any amp and any speaker and convert to one speaker output, you can fry your amp. You can get a mono amp for cheap as well (although usually setup for subwoofers) or there are other solutions like using resistors to combine the signals into one

This is great! Simple, clear, and direct. Thank you! But does anyone know how you would do the same to TWO speakers and have them connect wirelessly in every way, both to each other in stereo and to the device transmitting the music (phone, etc.)? In other words, I don't want to have to connect the separate speakers together with any wires, but have them both play music transmitting from the same single source.
@MerwinMusic3 жыл бұрын
I feel like your best bet would be to setup some Raspberry Pi's as basically a Sonos system. I setup basically my own low powered radio station in our house so any radio I can tune into the same music.
@jaysonbarretto2223 жыл бұрын
@@MerwinMusic I had admittedly never heard of a Raspberry Pi until your suggestion, so I looked them up and WOW! What a cool product. But I'm unsure that I'm understanding exactly how this would work. To be clear, I want to stream music from my phone on, for instance, Spotify and have the music play out of both speakers simultaneously with no wires connecting the two speakers together.
@jaysonbarretto2223 жыл бұрын
@@MerwinMusic FYI: The main reason I want no wires connecting the two speakers is that I have them sitting on two bookshelves on either side of a fireplace. It would be nearly impossible to run wires between the two without the wires showing, as there's no easy way to hide the wiring since the floor is linoleum. There's nowhere to tuck the wires out of sight (such as behind a baseboard or under carpet).

This video was so extremely helpful. I've been having a lot of trouble figuring out the wire and board configuration for speakers and this mightve just saved me. I was completely unaware of being able to plug one wire into one sides positive and the other sides negative. Does the same thing work when a board says treble, bass, or mid? Like if I had a 2x 5. 25 inch speakers and a 1 inch tweeter (all 4 ohm) on a sound bar, could I use them in series, could I plug the two 5.25s into the bass positive and mid negative and leave the tweeter plugged into the treble spot alone?
@MerwinMusic4 жыл бұрын
If you wired 2 speakers in series then your 4 ohm speakers would be 8 ohms to the amplifier, which is probably fine but I wouldn't know without looking at the amp. When you split left positive and right negative it is called bridged, some amps support it and some don't. Usually though it is done to combine left and right not mid and bass. All that to be said it is a complicated thing and I really can't say anything definitive without all the information.

I don't really care about being right I just care about making it work💩 for projects as quick & simple as these)) And that is simply doubling up or in other words say you only have 2channels but you have 4speakers... what I would do is run 2speakers out of 1channel and 2speakers out of the other channel now that being said you're not going to get the full sound but if you're looking for surround you're going to get it with 4speakers so any power drop from doubling up shouldn't really be upsetting..
