You did a good job explaining everything. I have been knitting for over 20 years and teach knitting and crochet het to kids. I have a set of needles that look like weapons. They are 25mm. I hated knitting with them. Before you ever said it I thought the bow looked like bacon. I was right there with you.

It’s too hard to choose only one!!! I came to the crochet side after being a knitter, so I’m partial to those huge needles and chunky yarns!!! These are great ideas! That scarf looks so nice and cozy. Your cast on looks so convenient for when you have to cast on a ton of stitches, I'm always so worried about leaving a too small or too big tail when I do the long tail cast on! I consider myself a procrastinator, but I actually have had all of my Christmas gifts done for over a week, surprisingly. Now it's time to wrap them, and I definitely procrastinate on that part 😅

When I finished everything I just take a darning needle and weave the ends of the yarn into the project to secure them so they don’t stick out!
