If you get preserved moss than no. Preserved moss looks like its alive, but it isn't so you won't need to constantly water it

Hi, it is still holding up very well! very few fuzzy pieces may come off over time but it is easy to glue them back on. hope that helps!

Hi! It is still looking great, the glue will not eat the moss as the moss is dried and preserved. Hope that helps (:

Here's the craziest moss fact of them all: What you used wasn't even MOSS! It's actually Cladonia rangiferina, which is a lichen, and while it sometimes called Reindeer Lichen, or even Reindeer Moss, it is not a member of the same Genus as other mosses. It is actually classified as an endangered species in some areas that it grows (mainly in the UK). Because it is edible, it is eaten by reindeer (caribou), and is used by indigenous people who live in it's range as a medicine and an occasional food source! #TMYK Great Job on the moss art! If I may offer a suggestion, I would recommend using a darker or opaque background in the future, so that light can't pass through from the back as easily in the thinner spots. You can still have the same look as the acrylic with the standoffs, but you can paint the back of it black before applying the moss (not the entire back, just the inner rectangle that has your design on it).
