They're beautiful Natassa. One thing I've done when folding the ribbon ends over to put the clamp on I use a little fabri tac glue and that prevents fraying also. Thanks for sharing. 🙂❤

One could touch the cut ends with some clear nail polish to seal them.

Those are beautiful. No, I hadn't thought of making them before. You always have such neat ideas. I will need to get some crimp ends. I think the Victorian ones are my favorite too. I also loved the sequined ribbon. So fancy! They all are beautiful. They would be fun to put in R.A.Ks or swaps too. Thank you.

Beautiful and easy book marks. You can take a lighter to melt the ends after you cut them and it will keep them from unravelling.

Lovely, great ideas. I had some pretty trim that was flat on one side so I just overlapped two pieces, sewed them together and then it was decorative on both sides. Looking at your ones just made with a cord made me think you could sew the cord to fabric or trim and then bead the ends.

So glad I found this video. I've had the Ribbon Clasps for ages, tried them one time *without* success, and they've been sitting and bothering me ever since. I've diagnosed my problem, the ribbon was far too thin for the clasps. Doubling the end over was the solution I needed! Thank you! BTW, your description of how to open and close a jump ring is the *best* I've ever seen!

There is a fabric glue specially made to stop fraying in the USA it is called fray check. You can also buy a double side fusible tape that will add to your bond if you use it before folding the ribbon. It works well.
