I made several of these! I saved that little strip that gets cut off and made a paper bead. I forgot how little of a strip of paper is needed for that😊I also found some treasures today at Cato! Jewelry that can be deconstructed and used for these tassels , charms, dangles, etc. I got 15 sets, necklaces with earrings and bracelets, $149 retail… clearance price…$25!!! I would have spent almost retail price if I had bought these treasures as packaged beads, charms, chains and closures! Think outside the box and search unexpected places!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talents!

I loved the beaded pin on top of your tacky glue bottle, so clever. :) Your process demonstrations are always so thought-through and efficient. Especially useful for me was the beading-onto-twine-with-thread method. I should also adopt the habit to save nice packaging that can be reused. I throw that always with sad feeling and do it only because I do not have a single dedicated convenient spot in my house for that. You inspired me to solve that problem.

When our mom passed away, I acquired most of her craft items, which included a lot of cloth material in a variety of sizes, colors, fabrics, etc. I should use some of these to make tassels for my siblings, as cloth would last much longer than the paper. I think my sisters would enjoy them. I could even make one for our brother out of some of the material that looks like leather/vinyl ... and he could use it on a keychain, etc. It doesn't have to be huge but would be using a piece of our mom's things. I just watched another video from Treasure Books on making Journal covers using a piece of cloth and paper and glue. She made one using a piece of crinkled, orange tissue paper glued onto fabric and painted on it... and it came out looking amazing. I don't know where to start with all of the wonderful projects she creates. My head spins. I am so grateful since imagination is... not a thing with me. .. so I welcome her ideas. She is a "Treasure". Bless you.

Hello from Germany. I never thought of making these from paper. But I sure will … before I made tassels from old jeans to be used as a key ring or as a charm on handbags. I have thousands of beads and pearls from previous projects. I made bracelets from safety pins and beads. But after I had given them to all of my friends and even had sold some ( right off my arm😍) I no longer had use for my bead collection. Now I have.

I have a little die to make tassels that are about 5cm but these are really elegant at this length and you’re right will. Are lovely gifts when packaged. These are terrific! Do you EVER sleep? You are coming up with great new ideas faster than anything! I'm curious as to how double sided scrapbook paper would work as it tends to be a bit thicker, but how pretty would those tassels look? I'm just going to have to have a play and find out! Thank you, Natasha, for your beautiful creative mind. ❤️

You asked if I’ve ever made any of these and believe it or not just the other day I was playing with some plain white off cut strips and next thing I knew I had put a strip of different washi tape on each one, cut them into a waterfall like strip so you could see a peek of each washi, stapled the top and covered the staple w more washi! I wish I could show you! And thought to myself, hmm, I could make various versions of these! And lo and behold you come up with yet ANOTHER video that addresses what I’m working on. Blows my mind! You’re just so brilliant!!
