I do have my paisley linen dress all ready to go with a belt I had made for it ( gee wiz)..my makeup is always the same but an outside wedding is going to present challenges....my dress is ivory so I have to be so careful not to get makeup on it! It's so easy for me to do that! The one thing I will make sure I do is powder a bit more and make sure to blot a lot! You are so right, we can't look caky in the sunlight....a little vaseline on the checks and lids can help that!

Hi Tamara I really like how you talked about bright sun making makeup much more visible on the skin - it really does make a huge difference and it is not the most flattering lighting with a full face of makeup. I think this is the reason many of us switch to lighter weight/sheerer formulas in the Summer. A few other things may help with spf reapplication in such a situation: Using an spf colour stick as blush and/or bronzer can add an additional layer of spf eg the colourscience sticks (there are other brands who make spf makeup including cream shadows) An spf face powder instead of a regular powder - lots of these are available in many price points An spf setting spray All of these can be used as a base layer of makeup and carried with us for reapplication. I do of course have a really good layer of spf on before applying any makeup each day. It's not going to give a full reapplication of spf like you would get from a liquid spf, but it is certainly better than not reapplying and this way you still have that full face of makeup on. This is how I top up my spf all Summer, as I do wear makeup most of the time. I have rosacea (plus eczema) and I wear makeup pretty much every day I leave my house, as I want/need coverage to disguise the redness. It just avoids people asking "are you ok? you look really warm" or "are you embarrassed?" etc. I'm red most of the time and have chronic redness from previous flares, even when my skin is relatively calm. This could also work for those with hyperpigmentation, acne, melasma or any other skin condition that makes them feel less confident about not wearing makeup. it's worth it for me to buy the spf makeup to use every Summer and then replace each year as spf does degrade. Layering the spf powder and setting spray avoids it looking powdery on my very dry skin, plus it gives even more spf protection. Just a few of my tips for a Summer daytime event, or even just how to work reapplication of spf into any day you're wearing makeup in the sunnier days. I really loved the polished yet natural look you created and think it would suit anyone. Best wishes.

Tamara, I love this video! And, I wear the exact same foundation (the Age Perfect Serum one) in the same color. I too like to mix it with something more long-lasting. Or, an other thing I love to do is to apply the longer-lasting more matte foundation in my t-zone first - and then apply the Age Perfect Serum foundation to the outer area of my face. That way on videos and in real life, the center area of my face isn't super shiny looking as that can accentuate things I don't want to accentuate. :) For the other foundation, I often use the Believe Beauty foundation in the center of the face. This look turned out beautiful!

Very very pretty, Tamara! I have many of the same products and agree the Physicians Formula powder is amazing. It is like fairy dust without sparkle. It truly perfects the look of my skin. I also have the Milani Bronzer and the Essence highlighter. I have never tried to use bronzer or highlighter on my eyes and think the Essence would work on the eyes since that’s what I have. It looks easy and natural. Going to give it a whirl!

Outstanding! And perfect timing for me!! I love the idea of the mix of foundations, but also wonder if you think the wet and wild tinted moisturizer might actually be enough? I like that one and was surprised it had so much body. Also, I’m a fan of using bronzer and blush in eyes; I even have used a dark concealer as an”cream eyeshadow.” Do you think your look will last without any eye primer? Lastly, I love the lip look on you, but I have terrible vertical lip lines and wonder if darker shades draw more attention. I think the wet n wild is so pretty...but not sure how long it will hold up on a super hot and humid day? My eyelids are not oily and shadow typically lasts pretty well with just concealer as a base but a primer would probably be extra security. And thank you for sharing YOUR tips! 😘💕❤️

Concealers are challenging for sure. So much frustrating trial and error. Try for something that is not too full coverage and use sparingly. Although I do love the NYX one shown in the video my two Holy Grails right now are the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear and the Kosas Revealer concealer. Shades are tricky with the Kosas but you could get color matched for the Lancome pretty easily. For reference I use Buff Neutral in the Lancome and 2.5 in the Kosas. Good luck!
