I don't really comment on youtube videos but I had to say WOW! And thank you! I'm 33 and have been watching makeup videos for women with mature skin because I plan on purchasing products for my mother. Your tips here are so good! The mistake side was how I was taught to apply makeup (not from my mom - more from magazines, the little tutorials on the back of eyeshadows, etc) and I've always thought that makeup aged me. 10+ years ago I thought that was a good thing.... Not anymore! I even used some of your tips today (highlighter under blush! revelation) and it looked awesome. I'm definitely sending this video to my mom when I gift her with new makeup.

OMG!!!!! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU TAMARA!!!!!! For showing me how to apply makeup to my now fairly mature (62 years) face!!! I do watch a few other people who breeze thru their videos without alot of explanation. YOU, however, YOU explain things completely in a way I can understand, and that is a tremendous help. After my last stroke in 2018 I've found I've forgotten all I knew about makeup, and that it takes me being told and being shown visually to understand. You make me feel normal, not stupid, so THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart! (Now, if you can show me how I can use a steely blue or periwinkle blue eyeshadow as a transition color or on the inner third of my lid I'll be doubly indebted!)

First I love the outtakes! LOL. Your right eye is definitely lifted and more youthful. I have adjusted my brow shape as well which requires some hair removal on the tail. And I totally agree, no black eyeliner on the upper or lower lash lines especially for gals with mature light colored eyes. It’s too harsh and distracting. I too use a taupe shade pencil liner but just along the upper lash line (no tight-lining), slightly connecting to the lower lash line as you do. I feel tight-lining along the upper waterline too heavy and irritating for me. I do not like waterproof eye makeup as is challenging to remove completely and can damage the waterline.

Lumify is amazing!!! Nothing gets the eyes brighter. So glad you use the eyelash primer, its great. I use the Loreal Voluminous (black one) mascara with it. Pretty good.
