Yes I too Love paper and all that goes it! Folding, cutting, gluing, etc..... I think I'll always be a 5 year old in spirit 🤭 I love old paper and creams, golds, brown grunge.... text and different fonts!

Fun video. Thanks for sharing. I do love old books and vintage papers. I also enjoy scrapbook papers etc. I often get used or left over scrapbook papers. Fun surprises if you get a box lot. I do not use digital kits, I prefer to keep the junk journal actually more "junk". Just my preference.

I finally did it!! I did a prototype following your instructions but I did it all as a collage. I modified a couple of things but I did the envelope flip flop system and the little notebook. I usually use a double-sided tape to bind the pages because its a lot easier and less time consuming. Love your videos! You never ran out of great ideas, you're one of my inspirations why I keep on making my all around journal!

Love seeing this all coming together. :-) The idea of using an acrylic block to stamp paint is such a great tip! 💕💕 I have so many school text books that my granddaughter has finished with and can't resell. These will make excellent fodder for these tags and pockets

what a beautiful book round the year in the garden. I'm definitely going to make tags this way. I would pick colors that are rare and that pick up the page. I like both of them how you fasten the ribbon. I make a second one. i have some levely paper for this project.

I sew the tops of the notebook but don't make the top folds to the back (to lessen bulk). I glue the tops after binding so I can hide the string ends (waxed cord) in between the tops. Sometimes I stagger the tops, and tear them so some can be seen and it looks distressed. It seems the premade notebook samples shown don't have the fold back, or just don't appear that way. I'd take one of your wet painted tag and lay it face down on another unpainted tag. You'll get a nice texture on both of them.

I rarely use Washi. Most don't seem to stick permanently and I try to stay original. However, I do make my own decorative tape, usually with gel printing. As a career artist I really can't use what other's use, (buyers expect originality). I also don't use printables for the same reason. I do appreciate and understand why people use them. Some are hard to resist. Especially the ones created by the talented artists in Joie's group.
