I'd like to thank you for getting me back into sewing and quilting Vanessa! I love your tutorials! It had been close to 20 years, since I had set down at my sewing machine. I became a grandma and did your other basket tutorial 5 years ago for my granddaughter's first Easter. I am now getting ready to follow your tutorial for this cute basket for my 7 month old grandson's first Easter. I just want to let you know I appreciate all you do! Thank you so much!

I agree - so many craft tutorials have voices that I find annoying, and OTT personalities. Yours, by contrast, are very pleasant to listen to.

This is my first experience watching one of your tutorials...awesome! As a school teacher I absolutely love how you do not spend your time constantly repeating yourself like so many others do in these tutorials, after all, that is what rewind is for. Your lessons are very specific in the steps with clear demonstrations for each step. This is the 4th video I have watched on making cloth baskets (different styles) but your video is the best as a teaching tool for any skill level. Thank you, I look forward to watching more of your tutorials.

I am a new sewer. Here's what I like about your tutorials. You actually show the sewing instead of assuming your watcher knows........the tutorials who fastforward over all the actual sewing aren't helpful to newbies ----- but you give me confidence to head to my machine, laptop on the left, machine on the right............thankyou and keep it up.

Thanks Vanessa, I need something for my partner’s grandmother to carry all the stuff up the stairs at home. She’s fallen down the stairs a few times so this will help her have a free hand to hold onto the rail. I am going to add a few slip pockets including one bottomless so she can put a water glass in the basket and hold it in place.

Suggestion, when purchasing the In R Form plus...I would suggest getting the fusible on one side only. I purchased the double sided fusible one before I watched the video and when I went to iron it to my fabric, I had to put another cloth on the other fusible side as I was only fusing this to the outside panels of the box...I hope this makes sense.....

I absolutely loved this basket so easy to make, however just a warning!!! there was an accident to mine and I had to wash it. i washed it in cold, but the foam squares completely came unattached and were floating in my basket. i managed to save it by opening up my turning area and situating all the squares back and hitting it with a hot iron. it worked for the most part but the bottom is still weird. i need a smaller iron to fit down in it. So my advice to all you if you are making this, and there is any possibility it will get washed. quilt the sides. I will never make a inner form project again that i don't quilt and make sure it is stuck in there snugly. any advice about this situation is appreciated as well.
