I believe you could probably just wrap the yarn around the frame , but I would bend the frame first before wrap the yarn to get that oblong effect and the yarn won’t be loose, like Julie says , “Just play with it and be creative!” Then everything else will come together 😊

🦉, got some tips for you, I'm a crocheted, that a hook not a needle, the stitch you used is a slip stitch you did not a chain, always show the label of the yarn you use, makes it easier for ppl to see what your using & easier for you instead of trying to explain what your using, do love watching your tutorials & while continue ❤

Also, can you please provide what brand name yarn you used, how much of the skein was leftover and the weight? It’s liTes on the label. I was at Joanna today getting f t yarn for the wreath and picked up this rust colored Eddie Bauer (for wayyyy to much money, lol) and it looks similar to yours. This one is a “jumbo #7 weight” yarn.
