I tried this and made a lovely little hat for my daughter. The instructions were so simple and easy to follow. You gave plenty of details for each age group which I've struggled to find such a helpful tutorial on KZbin. However I definitely need a lot more practice with crocheting especially towards the start of the hat as the folded part of the hat ended up being a little wonky 😅
