Love the ideas for making journal cards. I don't enjoy the Florida summers either! Hot, muggy, sticky, and miserable. To me, it's like winter up north. Go from the car to indoors quickly! The rest of the year is great!

Im a medical traveler and at one assignment, 4 yrs ago, they were converting from film radiology to digital and the film is stored in big manila folders. So I asked if I could have them. I had to painstakingly pull off every name before I could take them but I did and I scored 500 of them. Each side of the folder was the sides of the folder were the size of a regular folder opened so basically I got two for one. I still have about 100 left. Never hurts to ask.

A local bank was recently absorbed into a bigger system and had to change all of their stationery folders and logos. I called a friend at the bank and ask if they would donate some for crafting purposes. They said sure come on by the bank when I arrived, I had three cases a folders both regular and legal size. They are the thickness of mat board with a beautiful burgundy on one side and white on the inside. Always ask

Pam, i was at the dollar tree, and i found a pack of felt diks for the bottpm of chairs and such. Exactly like the ink dobbers...(hint)sizea from little finger ones, up to the quarter size. I think there is 36 in a pack...for a buck $, not bad!
