Real fishermen don’t leave trash/litter, don’t “bully” other fishermen over fishing spots, especially where some else else is already fishing, aren’t disrespectful, are actually friendly and help others if needed, and other positive things. The real fishermen are “cool” 😎 people. The ways some people act and the things people do public, have changed, not all of it reflecting good sound moral behavior and appropriate “role model” behaviors. I, for one don’t like to see trash, or rude behavior or “bad behavior”, and I’m glad you call them out Alex. And I’m relieved to see you cleaning up from those nasty people. That is keeping it realistic!

I always love when a RF video comes out. Whenever it does, it encourages me to get out there. And believe it or not, I beat my PB bass twice in a period of 8 days. March 29 I caught a 6 lb 5oz bass, this Tuesday I caught a 7 lb 2oz bucket mouth. Prior to that, it had taken me almost 30 years to catch anything over 4lbs. That's the beauty of fishing though right? Full of surprises, sometimes not great but then those special moments happen that you'll never forget for the rest of your life.

The other day a group of 5 grown men were hogging the entire front portion of the pond i fish so my daughter and I walked around them and down the trail a little ways. When we came back to the front of the pond two of the guys had moved from their spot and I noticed a plastic container with dirt in it that I’m assuming they used for worms just layin there. All the guys were still there, no more than 15ft away so I walked over and picked it up, looked at my daughter and said nice and loudly “see this Glenna, this is trash, so we’re gonna take it over to those a trash cans and throw it away, along with the other junk we found walking the trail”. So my daughter learned the importance of keep the water we fish clean, and those slobs didn’t say a single word to me, one just looked over but had nothing to say.
