Easy Flower for beginners Koh-I-Noor Magic FX Pencils

In this turorial we will be testing out the Koh-I-Noor Magic FX Pencils by drawing a bird of paradise flower . How do they work ?
Each of the chunky Koh-I-Noor Magic FX pencils contains lead that is multi-colored, so as you draw, the strokes seamlessly change colors. I found out that in combination with the pastel pencil, the effect is quite amazing.... Maybe something for you ?

I too thought these were for children but these are incredible quality pencils and frequently use one for sketching. They do various series of these - some sets with closely coordinated colour variation and some with more opposite colour compliments or the one I use which is the Original Tri-colour Red, Yellow, Blue. I love mine and it's a permanent part of my field sketching kit.

Hi Peter, I totally agree with you and I love the fact that the colours come out randomly. They kind of "trigger the mind" and give that playful effect. They bring out "the child" in me and what I hear from you, they do that for you too out in the fields! 👍

Yes the last 3 days its been hot here too, we have up to 26 degrees, I've been working in the garden and I'm sun burnt on my face and back lol we aren't use to it here :) You got 32!!! wow that's crazy hot!

i have the magic kooh i noor. but i had no idea how to use them on the right way. i tryed to color big spaces but it doesn t look so good because of the stripes- changes of color. many thanks for this video!! pls go on!!

How do I sharpen these? They're so large that regular sharpers don't work, but their shape is so weird I don't know if I should use an Exact-o knife.

Hi Andrew, that is correct. I use a cheap but very sharp Hobby knife for sharpening all my pencils. That works the best ^^
