I have this set and it's really fun to use them! Koh-i-noor also has a slimmer multicolored one in blue, red and yellow that I always carry in my pencilase for doodles and stuff.

They actually have a whole set of the regular sized multilead pencils. Tritone :3 in 12 and 24 colors

@@tirameowsu I just bought some myself but I got the simple rainbow ones they sell. I saw a person on ig line work with rainbow colors on some Pokemon and painted them in with ink ❤️ it comes out so beautiful

eBay was my first thought when I saw how expensive the ones on amazon were, but I was worried they wouldn't be as good quality so I struck with these ones!! let me know how the cheaper alternate version works, though!!

look up a review from 'Drawing With Lineke Lijn'. Foreign language, Czech I guess but she shows how best to sharpen them to use them on their side, on black paper and over pastel pencil.

congrats on the subs! you are so close to 1k and you deserve so many more :D DUDE i ONLY have the neon magic pencil... ive wanted to use it so much but ITS SO HARD TO SEE. i just thought maybe i should find some black paper to mess around with cause omg these colorful sketches look so fun... i kind of want to buy this set of pencils at some point as well AHA XD seems like the non neon ones would be nice to do sketches with . and like you said practice anatomy/poses/clothes

thank you vee!! 💕💕 and oh god the neon one is cool in theory but absolutely my least favorite of the bunch!!! I have yet to use it on dark paper but I was really sad about it because the body of the pencil was fancier haha. this set is so much fun though!! I only see myself using 3/5 of the pencils on a regular basis (I used the tropical(?) one a lot recently!!) but I still think they're super fun!! great for little doodles because they make them look extra fancy. eventually I'll get around to giving the neon pencil another shot!

@@tirameowsu yeah i really like the tropical and original colors. i think i would use the fire one a lot too. maybe next month when i get more money i will pick these up.. xD haha. sketching and practicing is so much more fun in colors and MAGIC :>

@@QUEERVEEART yeah the tropical, fire, and america ones are by far my favorites in the set! they are kind of pricey for just four pencils but if you're able to purchase them they are worth it! I haven't looked too much into buying them individually, but I did see a couple sites/etsy stores that sell individual pencils, too! if I ever use up all of the tropical I'm definitely buying myself a new one 😊

@@tirameowsu update: i most definitely just ordered them AHAHA XD i have seriously no willpower when it comes to art supplies omg... actually i looked at my bank statements and how much money i have been spending. and since i got food stamps i spend wayyy less money so xD i decided i could treat myself to magic pencils now.. xP xP i did look on etsy and i was gonna buy the four i dont have individually for 2 dollars each, until i saw the shipping price was like 7 dollars.. xD so it ended up being MORE expensive than the 5 pack on amazon. so i just decided to do the do and drop 13 bucks on magic pencils oooo. i will prolly give the neon away since i already have that one tho :3 but when i go to my parents house next week im definitely gonna pick up some black paper to test the neon on it. (my parents have like a big ol craft closet of a lot of crap weve accumulated over the years lol)

I'll probably end up trying out the pencils on dark paper sometime this week because I also have a lot of cardstock for scrapbooking/card making so I could just try it out on those!! Expensive but they last forever. I bought a big fat eyeliner sharpener at the dollar store to sharpen mine. :)

I ordered a big sharpener off of amazon, I wish I thought of an eyeliner sharpener!!! these pencils are wonderful though, I've been playing with them a lot recently!

Blick is cheaper than michaels like 90% of the time and their shipping is faster in my exp, if you dont have a store near you. Michaels is way better for craft supplies, but actual art supplies are even more expensive than they should be at Michaels
