I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to make a stand up fondant rainbow cake topper that will always fit the top of your cake. And you'll see how to put it on the cake to ensure it doesn't fall over. Beginner friendly, no special tools are needed!

You're welcome girl! It really isn't difficult, you just gotta make sure there is tylose in the fondant and you let it sit long enough so it can stand on its own.

Hi K Thank you so much for this tutorial. I had to make a cocomelon cake with a rainbow topper. And this tutorial helped a lot, since I never made a rainbow topper. And instead of cutting the icing, I screwed "that sucker". 😂 One screw on each side. Love your creations.👌🏽 Stay blessed🙏🏽

Have you used a fondant extruder? If so, do you like it? I recently used one to make a rainbow topper

I have one and I do like it! But none of the discs are thick enough in diameter for what I want to do with this rainbow, that's why I roll it out.

Gotta make sure you have the Tylose mixed in with the fondant so it dries hard and will stand on its own!

When you dry this. Is it in sir tight container or exposed to air? I did this but air dry and day two it cracked all apart 😭😭😭.

I air dry it and it dries hard. I only use Marshmallow Fondant with Tylose. Did you use Marshmallow Fondant or store bought fondant? Store bought fondant is notoriously soft and is prone to cracking.
