Agreed! The best close-up explanation that I have ever seen! I always do mine in the same way, but in the end I am using claw clip. I will definitely try this with pins!

I have been learning how to do French twist for HOURS watching other videos from different flat forms but failed. FINALLY when I tried learning from this video I was shocked to know that my French twist was so beautiful and secure thanks to this video! Thank you so much for making this video and this video REALLY helped me a lot!! 💕💕💕💕

This is literally the only tutorial that shows us how to PIN the twist securely! Other tutorials only mentioned pinning the hair but never show us HOW to pin. Such a crucial information left out by others.
@aviemoore56423 жыл бұрын
Love this French twist tutorial. The explanation of how to insert the pins was very well explained. Thanks for keeping the instructions simple and stupid 😂 Now because of this video I think I can do a French twist.
@dragonsinthedistance69406 ай бұрын
you are completely right about most tutorials skipping vital information. for example. I was going to give up in despair, but your looping tip saved me. that's the step I was missing! that's the reason my French twist attempts were falling apart! now I do this for all my events and it looks so classy but is so easy. thank youuuu
@becki59813 жыл бұрын
The part about keeping hand there and looping over, I think did it. And the way you show how to put in the pins. You are right--other people skipped over these very important steps. I have been trying to do an easy french twist for years. I give up, then try again, and then give up again. Thank you! thank you for making this video. I just did a french twist ONE THE FIRST TRY. and it's up, and it's tight! It doesn't feel like it will fall any second. It's not perfect. But I like it. Thank you, again.

Great demo! I just want to add, if you want to tuck the end hairs that are popping out, use a rat tail comb with the tail side. You can also use the rat tail comb to smooth the hair after the French roll is done. You can even spray a little hair spray on the comb after you smooth out the hair so the hair doesn’t look stiff.

Hi, your French Twist is very good for short hair like yours. Well done! When you don't make a low, but a high ponytail, you can even skip the step of putting the ends under the twist, because they will hang down naturally and will go into the twist, while you are twirling the hair on the loop right over the ponytail base. Also I would start from above to insert the pins, because up there is the most tension in the updo. Then you don't have to hold tight everything with your hands for such a long time.

I have a bowl of French hair pins, because they seemed so much more easier to use than the American hair pins. My mother really disliked my favorite hair pins, but she didn't use them like I did. I just did what made sense to me. All these years I have been thinking that I used them incorrectly! Even if I do a bun I prefer my pins. Awesome tutorial!
