You have inspired me. I had a revelation watching what you were doing a while back. I’m off to begin. I’ve been a little at loose ends changing careers. This was my first, solid, affixed inspiration. It’s in there and working wonders. Thank you so much. If it goes as well as I’d like, I’ll update.

Hi Albert. really enjoyed the video. I especially found the bird pooh part comical. There is so much around us we over look. Thankyou.👍👍👍

Thanks, Andrea. Indeed, art inspiration can be found anywhere. Albert

Thanks Albert! I love to see other artists’ takes on this process, it’s very inspiring. I noticed that we tend to look for realism in our incidental abstractions… or maybe it’s just me. 🙏❤️

Thanks, Franca. I'm always surprised how it turns out: new ideas or ways of working. Love it. I guess it is part of our nature to look for familiar things in the 'unknown'. Thanks for participating. Albert

Thank you, Albert, for putting all this together. I was surprised at how much variety there was in the end, from the same challenge. Such potential in simple ideas taken to the end. Have a wonderful day too😊😊😊

Thanks, Emmanuel. You are a part of the shown variety: together, it is always better, also in artmaking. Thanks for participating, Albert

Recapturing beautiful messes is one thing but using the viewfinder to make miniseries from the whole is a great idea.

Thanks, Robert. Enjoy looking at details of your own (created) mess. Albert

Hello Albert. I have no idea how I missed the last challenge, how odd. Never mind, I enjoyed this video a great dea. I loved your remark about birds not using toilet paper. I laughed, what a great sentence!

Thanks, Gordon. Sorry you missed it. Maybe join in on the next one. This simple way of working is great. I love creative birds. Albert

Another inspiring video with great examples from practitioners of this liberating process. There is beauty to be found everywhere if we look.

wunderbare Werke aus aller Welt. Wenn man die Figuren der "Fasenacht" im Schwarzwald und in der Schweiz kennt, sieht man auch die Gesichter von Emmanuel.

Thanks, Otmar. Recently watch a German video and images of Fasenacht came along, it really shown a different type of faces. Interesting. Thanks for participating, Albert

I think these were all wonderful. I especially like the one Otmar did with the red flowers. Very nice. I also like it when you use the frame effect on all the little details. I have seen so much, now that I use that way of seeing my own art. Thanks Albert.

Thanks,, Connie. It's a different way of looking. Also a nice option to enjoy a painting you at first didn't like, just look at details now. Albert

I live in Oklahoma USA. So ashamed and angry and fearful in 2024. Afraid for 2025 and beyond. I have struggled to find a way to vent my pain and disappointment, and frankly, seething anger. Thank you again for helping me break through the fog!

It makes me sad to hear you feel this way, Patti. Whenever I'm not feeling well, I often turn to painting. It brings me in the here and now, focussed om my painting, noticing I can do lots of things, here and now, what I can improve. Putting down my painting in sight keeps me longer in this process, thinking over what it needs or has too much. Changing this gets in all more in balance. Hope this helps. Albert

Hi Albert ! I love your art videos ! I am from Brazil and I will be in amsterdam in April! Any art tips ? Thanks, Dani
@ImperfectPaintings9 ай бұрын
Thanks, Daniela. Just go to the museumplein and visit Van Gogh (reserve your spot, now, from home, loaded with tourists, to crowded for me), Rijksmuseum (old masters, nicely renovated building, and free sculpture garden). Please visit also the Stedelijk museum there! Weird modern art, love it, and ignored by most artsy tourists. Skip moco museum, costly tourist trap. Eye, the filmuseum can be interesting, love the building, and do take the free ferry straight across the IJ behind Central Station, crowded with normal Dutch people. It can be fun to take a longer free ferry to NDSM-werf from behind the central station to visit the street art museum. Do check museum.nl (has an English version as well. Calculate how much all the entry tickets are and compare it to the one card and get all museums for free. Often skip the lines. All for less is typical Dutch 🤣. If you can spare a day, visit the Kröller Müller museum inside the Hoge Veluwe-parc. Free white bicycles to get around. Loads of tourists all learning to ride a bike for one day. Incredible museum. Insane sculture garden. And you get to see another type of typical landscape 'Zandverstuiving'. Don't hesitate to use public transport in the Netherlands, safe, reliable and on time, check OV-card, one card for all public transport. Please leave Amsterdam and take a train to Leiden or The Hague or Utrecht. Amsterdam is not representative of my beautiful country Check the description under this video in case you like to want some more info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZCspYOFnpqqqc0si=sJQFLTO6bRXk3_PY
