I’m using Easy Grammar + (which is usually 7th grade) with both by 8th and 6th grader and we all really like it!! It’s very comprehensive but not too overwhelming.

My sons switched their math curriculum to Singapore this year!!! We are finding Language arts hard as well!!! We love grammar exercises!!!

I have already been making changes as well with my 6th grader. I'm changing math and LA. This grammar looks pretty good too. I have also been looking at Galaxy Grammar.

Math and grammar really seem to be the 2 we had the hardest time with. Singapore Dimensions has been great for us. But, oh, the grammar?!?!?!?!? I'm hoping this is the fit that we've been looking for.

Yes, it is! This has been a great switch so far. I'm extremely thankful that I did it early. Sometimes I wait to see if it gets better, but this time it needed to be completed early on.

Interesting! I don’t think I’ve seen it all. I randomly decided to get daily grams for my 6th grader this year but didn’t get the whole set. It is going ok. I personally like that it spirals and covers a lot. She doesn’t love it. I am getting fix it grammar to try as well to see if she likes it better. We also do Beowulf by Guest Hollow to go through the topics a little more.

@@HomeschoolwithJen I do really like it. I’ve done a video on it. I will say it is almost too young for my 6th grader. She has never been one to enjoy cutting and pasting either, so we modify it a bit with her. It was too advanced for my 1st grader last year though who had no grammar exposure. I feel like the sweet spot for Beowulf would be 3-5 grade

Are the Daily Grams and Easy Grammar supposed to be done on the same day? Do both books coincide together?

The Daily Grams is completed one page per day for 180 days. Easy Grammar is completed by lessons. Daily Grams is spiral. I'm actually working on the review video right now. I'll make sure to highlight this in it. Thank you for the question!
