Farm still working (ver 1.20.51) I was using a powered drip leaf farm in the nether until I found this video! Built it and love it! A couple tweaks I made others may find useful: - Built all 4 corners - Used open gates instead of grindstones (just need sand to be able to get by) - Placed a trapdoor in the middle of one side, we can crawl on bedrock now like in Java, so the gates let you get to the gateway portal. (don't need to waste pearls) I see JC's comment pinned saying you need to collect the items manually, but collection is working just fine. Note: I am using two hopper minecarts on rails above 4 hoppers for collection.

I just built his on a Nin. Switch running 1.19 and it works awesome. The duped items dont make it into the chest but I still pick them all up once teleported. Keep up the awesome work JC! I appreciate everything you do for us bedrock players!

Pretty useful farm. It still works in 1.20, but leaving this here for anyone who might run into the same issues I had. - If the farm does not generate items, leave the end dimension and restart the game, if on a server discconect. - Items will not go on slabs for some reason, just pick it up manually with some shulker boxes in the area.

2 possible ways to improve: -Instead of using all those ender pearls you can swim into the portal. Water has worked for a while now, but now it's even easier that parity gave bedrock the "trap door causes swimming by pushing you down" thing that was only for java. -You could make water push items over the tops of hoppers(8 per level) to avoid some clogging(with a hopper minecart under them, lol). I'll try to add both improvements, im ging to build this in the morning.

just so everyone know you CAN do 4 of these on each gateway. mirror this exact build then in ur last two places place ur water and string and put the sticky pistons on the bottom of the torches. place ur gravity block and the piston will pick it up

Built this just yesterday and still works perfectly. Made a small change and made it a double duper and hopper mine cart on collection side. Sand duping is a must unless you want to destroy biomes as it’s so useful. Also make sure you have all inventory slots full, then when you portal through you don't pick up loads of blocks. Went and made a coffee and when i got back i had 5 stacks of each sand.

I can confirm that this is working as of September 2023. you can have 4x the rates if you just add more pistons, grindstones, and water streams on all sides, then you just hac to connect Redstone lines going to the other pistons.

You could, hook up double speed hoppers or hopper minecart... the issue is the other side of the gateway isn't loaded till you go through it. So they don't start collecting until the area is loaded, and if there's too many item entities just chilling it'll lag the game into oblivion.

Yes you would be able to have it run forever if both sides of the endgate chunks are loaded. You could duplicate more multiple blocks if you have multiple endgates, but it may lead to to lag or crashes.

It worked on my realm, make sure that you see the purple beacon thing is flickering, that's how you know its working. you just need to flick the repeater & check until the purple beacon light goes on & off. I got 64 stacks of anvils.

I got ~9stacks in about 10 minutes. Some of the blocks weren’t breaking as they teleported through. As I went through the portal it never brought me or the items onto the exact same block. The items wouldn’t go into the hoppers. Note: These are issues I’m having after about an hour. I built this on a realm. Idk if this is why I’m seeing these problems or not. From wut I’ve seen other ppls works just fine. Just thought I share my experience. Free stuff is free stuff. It’ll still save plenty of iron & durability.

Btw, Hopper WON'T catch the items until you load the chunk, you can use 2nd account AFKing in other side OR you don't mind about cheating you can use /tickingarea command. Also the gravity blocks WON'T spawn too far from the center even it can changes where it falls. Just spam 9x9 or maybe more area with torches.

@@rudianto2903 this is no longer the case in bedrock, at least on realms. Having a player on the other side prevents the duping. In fact there are a lot of coffee changes in this area as of late, so we may need to wait until 1.20 to have a more stable playground to figure it out again

Got a weird issue, my sand on the other side keeps moving every time i go thrpugh, specifically one block farther every time. Its gotten like 15 blocks away from the gateway so i have no idea whats happening lol. It still works though so i guess ill just have to manually collect the sand instead of adding hoppers

Nothing I did worked, complete tear down and rebuild didn’t fix it. I had to load an older save up when it did work for it to go back. Only thing I did different than Mr. JC here is I tried to make the platforms around the gateway wear the items come out nicer like building it out, more walls and a roof etc. I don’t know which part messed it up but nothing could undo it besides reloading a save wear it worked

Never has my game pooped its pants more with any other farm I left it on for a very long time and when I went through the game crashed when I loaded back in I was greeted with chiseled quartz blocks and COMMAND BLOCKS I seemed to have transmutated the blocks to a different block on the sprite sheet I couldn’t place or use the command blocks but I had them in survival
