EASY GUIDE: How to fix the Faust boss fight bug in Stalker 2

Reloading saved games change nothing (i've tried this sooooooo maaaaaaaaaany times that i dont even know how many times - 20-30 i think)... THE REAL SOLUTION FOR THIS BUG/PROBLEM IS: do not kill Monolitians (fake Fausts), just focus on the "lamps" in first part of the fight and on Faust and only on him during the second part of the fight with him. That's a problem with too big amount of Monolite soldiers corpses on the roof, so if you will kill too many of them, Faust body will not appear after the cutscene. You can kill a few of fake Fausts (i've killed 2 or 3 of them and there was no problem), but be careful - too much of them and you will get that bug.

The game crashes at the exact point i destroy faust personal lantern. So I'm not sure what to do

I’m getting that too, I play on series s. I feel like it’s a hardware issue, like my console can’t handle what’s next cuz the entire fight on the roof is so laggy I’m getting like 15 frames. I wish gsc tried the game on console before releasing it

Yeah, I've had to use console commands to restart this crappy mission, and it's still buggy for me. What the hell is going on?! 😐

I suspected that was the fix for his body not spawning 😑 i barely had the ammo to win the battle the first time 🤣

@@bigd6800 Nah😏 4minutes and battle was over in my case. Just focus on lamps and then on Faust.That's all.

This is a game breaking bug and it hasn’t been patched yet. More and more I’m happy I got this dumpster fire on game pass and didn’t buy it.

@LastDrakkar82 I kept reloading to the point where I'd killed hundreds of monolothians where you've taken the lamps out and it's you and him and I think on like the tenth time of doing it it finally worked . Was so happy lol. Id emailed stalker I was soo angry lol. Had another one yesterday wjere the door would only open like a quarter the way and wouldn't push . Had to reload seven times to get it to work . Apart from things like this the game is great I think

Lol every time i aimed at him id get major frame drop and lag then he'd do the stupid psychic thing, this same thing went on for ages untill i finally dropped it to normal not his graohics. This is only place i had to do it

My glitch was after he threw me off the tower, thinking he’d help me up. I respawned back in to where the fight was happening and i was stuck in place, i couldnt move or turn. I had to reset the game in order for that to stop

Yeah...I think is a thing to it. Or a bug eventually. I shot one of those lamps and and didn't happen anything..so I just thought all the Fausts that spawn need to be killed until the real one appears. But when I saw the performance bug was not nice...
