I love seeing your many talents with other techniques, and I learn a lot from them. But I also love your stories and feel that they set you apart from other card makers on YT. You just have a special knack of telling stories that is engaging and makes us smile. I think you can strike a perfectly good balance with mixing it up as you have been doing: do some cards with more in-depth technique and no story time, but also do a longer coloring video of a single-layer card and include story time on those cards. Maybe for every two story times, do one technique card. You are so good with demonstrating new techniques that I feel those videos are just as valuable as those that are more amenable to talking about what is going on in your life. Your stories are priceless and very entertaining :).

I think what appeals to me the most is that this is a card that doesn't say male or female recipient. I love how you mix stuff together and come up with a winner every time. Well, maybe not everytime but no one is perfect lol

Fabulous card, Kelly! To answer your question (from my opinion), I think the blend of videos you have been doing so far is just fine. I come for the coloring, the learning and the story time. Now, do I miss story time when there isn’t extra time in the video? Absolutely! It’s a very unique part of your channel that I get excited for. But it doesn’t keep me from coming back to see what you make in the next video because I genuinely enjoy what you have to share anyway. If you want some concrete feedback, you can also try labeling future videos specifically for “coloring + story time” and the others with whatever you are teaching, or focus story time on specific times of the week? This might help you pinpoint trends in the likes/views/comments that way. Hope this helps! ❤

Kelly I rarely do Copic coloring, but I have learned so much from your coloring videos. I feel that what little coloring I do has improved because of your instruction. As for actual cards, I prefer cards with more die cutting. However, I do miss story time when you don't have time to include it. So I like both types of videos. I think you do a good job of balancing the various techniques and videos, so just do whatever feeds your soul at the moment, and we will enjoy being along for whatever ride you take us on.

Kelly, I have come to really enjoy your story time and your copic coloring is really superior. Lots of technique videos on KZbin - but nobody can tell your stories and few can copic color to your level. So to me that is what I come for. That being said, I recognize that this is now your full-time job and you are branching out with your own designs and representing different company’s products so technique videos may be part of the drill for those products. So my suggestion is to do what you need to grow your business/job but please do not lose the essential skills that make the viewer want to tune in and stay committed to your brand.

Coloring and story time and your good at teaching. Like others have said. It’s what sets you apart and it’s why I watch your channel. I can go to any other channel for techniques which are simply redone with different colors and new products. There really are only so many techniques.

Another thought. I have unsubscribed and stopped watching some extremely well know channels because I get tired of being told how to glue cardstock together etc. basic techniques essentially. It’s old. I can just look at the finished card and not watch. Story time is what is interesting. Not being told every tiny step to create a card.

Me I'd really like a little more back to coloring with the copics etc with story time which is what drew me to you to begin with and I find I'm really missing that instruction as I could actually get it when you did it and explained it and I was just starting to believe I could maybe do it when things changed. I still like learning these new things from you and I understand it better when you teach it but there are soooo many other videos doing tons of techniques to watch for most of that and for me ,very selfishly, I still really really need all that teaching and reinforcement of how to color and shade things and I alive more story time.
