@@Flawless.P-NWOKC hello 👋 yes big update.The judge was very respectful and was not biased towards men or women. I thank god for all the evidence I recorded with my self phone. Case was dismissed because Perjury, also known as false oath on her court documents! My advice to anyone going through false allegations before you go to war with your spouse gathering as much evidence is crucial!! If I didn’t have video recordings of me being the actual victim I would be in prison!!! The truth is you need evidence. The mother is in a treatment program. Marriage and divorce is not easy. Life is not fare but we must all ways set are children as priority number one ☝️ 💯

what do I do if I never got a hearing, I knew nothing about it until the police showed up and evicted me. I have no idea what was said. this guy I was renting a room from sold me a car that had a lot of problems including not passing smog. I told him I was going to talk him to court over it. then he started saying he was going to have me arrested and that I attached him . none of that happened . I had 5 minutes to leave. At 10 pm

Did you get served with a temporary order that lists a hearing date on it? Or just get a 1 year + restraining order? If it’s the second one, then step 1 is going to the court’s website and figuring out what happened. Most likely they claimed that they served you with notice of the hearing but did not. Then, in CA, you would file a motion to set aside the restraining order explaining that you did not get notice. There are strict timeframes to do this so you’d want to act ASAP.

Thats money some of us dont have. Our Justice system(civil and criminal), top to bottom, is the most unequal aspect of our nation. Money above all things is the best determining factor of whether or not you are going to win your case and/or the punishment you receive. All things being equal, the more money you have the more "justice" you get.

The sad part here and what I experienced in divorce is that it's not about the truth and protecting a victim and children from continued abuse or a possible escalated tragic event, but doing whatever it takes to win. And a victim of prolonged and continuous domestic abuse is afraid, traumatized, unorganized. Then the perpetrator goes in for the kill and hires lawyers to destroy the victim. So the VAWA and domestic violence laws and trauma response and fears are meaningless as an abuser gains more power. I didn't hear anything about protecting victims. Oppression of women in spite of the statistics and risks of harm and possibly murder.

Your testimony is considered evidence/proof. There is not always hard proof. It comes down to whether your testimony is credible, however. That’s why it’s important to establish your credibility and discredit the other party as much as you can.
