My go-to is Stir Fry whatever veggies we have with tofu or chickpeas. In a bowl with some tahini and hot sauce on it. I either put some rice, quinoa or lettuce in the bottom of the bowl. So good.

My go to healthy meal is, beans, rice and sweet potato. Make 4-5 worth on a Sunday and through the week just scoop 1 serving of each on a bowl/plate, add some hot sauce and BAM. Super simple.

I never related to the "oats make me tired" complaint...Isn't that what people say about turkey? haha. I love oats, eat them daily. Oat groats are actually the true unprocessed form of oats, then steel cut, then rolled. Rolled are just pressed steel cut. I personally love rolled oats!

My go-to meal is a kale salad that I massage and dress with Italian dressing, dried cranberries, apples, and whatever protein I have handy! I’m not vegan, but your channel is helping me cut off more animals products! I gave up red meat for Lent and I think it’s gonna be a permanent change! I’m getting there :,0 🌱

Ooh that sounds delightful, love dried cranberries and apples on salads! Also love putting almonds or pine nuts on mine too, with balsamic vinaigrette. I'm not vegan either, but I love watching vegan channels like yours Maddie that is a lot more accessible and has really great recipes/content. I'm also doing Lent as well! For me I'm only allowing myself to eat meat for one meal a day max, and so far I feel really good. I'm also cutting out junk sugar as well, which helps. It's definitely been a bit challenging (I tried going vegetarian after the summer, but in recent months have really slide back to my old ways), but ultimately I want to cut back my consumption as much as what is healthy for me (I'm thinking cutting it down to eating meat once or twice a week max, sorry I know that probably sounds horrible, and then who knows what the future holds)! Like today I didn't consume any meat and definitely did not miss it at all

Maddie. Can I just say how extremely happy I am that your channel exists. You are such a down to earth and relatable person, and it shows in your videos that you truly love animals. I am feeling so disappointed today after seeing KZbinrs who I have been following for years quit veganism and turn their backs on animal suffering. All while lying about being vegan for many months. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you so much for making authentic content and for just being yourself. You are by far my favourite youtuber! We need more people like you on KZbin! Much love xx ❤🐷

Maddie, you should try chia seed porridge! I’m a bit oatmeal fan too, but tried this and now I am alternating back and forth between oatmeal: 1 cup plant milk in a small sauce pan 3 tablespoons of chia seeds Whisk together until well incorporated and put on medium heat. Keep whisking and when you notice it starts to gel like chia seed pudding, add a tablespoon of cacao powder and whisk. It will smell like chocolate cake batter! Once thickened but still pourable, put in a bowl and top accordingly. I’ve been adding peanut butter and sometimes a little bit of strawberry jelly :)

I started to have that same dip in energy right after having rolled oats, and I too noticed that it went away when I started eating steel cut oats! I have a different theory as to why though: steel cut oats have twice the amount of protein in them compared to rolled oats (5g vs. 2.5g). I thus pair a serving or two with a scoop of protein powder mixed with water, cinnamon, and almond milk and boom! No more crash. Carbohydrates are great for immediate energy usage (which is why they're great in some form just before a workout), however for sustained energy I've found that more protein is the trick.

I soak my steel cut oats overnight in water with a tsp of apple cider vinegar added, then I rinse them really well in the morning. They taste amazing, cook faster, and the soaking process decreases the amount of phytic acid thereby improving digestibility and allowing the nutrients to be better absorbed.

It is weird but steel cut oats, makes my ibs go crazy so I stick to quick oats! Or I eat coconut yogurt and granola or even coconut yogurt and fruits if I’m not that hungry! But my go to meal is turmeric oats with mangoes and blueberries, plain oats with roasted cinnamon apples and raspberries or chocolate oats with mixed berries or caramelised banana. And I really enjoy ratatouille as a meal because I can bring that at school.

How much b12 do you get each day taking a supplement like that? When I began supplementing B12 I noticed drastically increased breakouts that were appearing on my cheeks, a place that i'd never had breakouts before. It seems that i was over-supplementing and getting too much B12, and that was affecting my skin. If you're doing a similar thing by taking multiple doses, it might be doing a similar thing to your skin.

Sitting here eating a big bowl of Blueberries while watching. :)I like eating oats before bed. Cause they do make you kind of sleepy. But they are easy to digest. :) I like steel oats too. I normally don't like Sweet Potatoes either. But I been trying to add them. I like them cooked really well from the Microwave. That pool looked awesome. I love the sound of the waterfalls in there. Will have to try that with sweet potato's. :) Instagram nor Facebook is working right right now. You can log into Facebook and like things. That's it. Can't even log into Instagram. Yes I would like to see the Pasta with Pumpkin. I got some can pumpkin for that. But not sure how to do it. :) That pasta looked good. Minus the avocado. Yea I'm one of those. I've tried them a few times. I just don't like them. At least I kept trying though. lol.
